The famous Hawaiian eatery has finally made it to Las Vegas. We have visited their original location in Honolulu and the food is exactly the same as over there, very authentic Hawaiian food.
The restaurant is very nice, very big and it's open concept style. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming.
The left side of the restaurant is for takeout and the right side is a dining area. The line for a dine in is always long, whenever you come in, but luckily it does move quickly.
They are always busy, because mostly Hawaiians visit Zippy's as they misses their home cooking meals.
They have recently opened, so they will expand their menu in phases, because Zippy's is well known for having a big menu.
We have ordered a Korean fried chicken and a Zip Pack - very famous Hawaiian dish.
Everything we have ordered was delicious, fresh and hot.
We also had their freshly baked Coconut Napple and Glazed Yeast Donut, very tasty.
Our server was very friendly, attentive and kind, we have truly felt welcomed.
Overall: we have had a great experience at Zippy's although the Hawaiian food is not our favorite, but we were genuinely impressed with the food, the service and the atmosphere.
We recommend it to anyone who is used to eating authentic Hawaiian food and loves it, because if you're not familiar with their dishes you might be disappointed.
But if you're adventurous and love to taste different foods, then you should visit the Zippy's, it can become your new favorite restaurant!

We've been here about 4 times since they've opened (considering we live in LA). The parking lot is always filled. The line for takeout is not as bad as dining in - but the lines move pretty quickly in my opinion. We usually wait about 20 minutes to get our food & our order is always accurate. The food & fruit punch tastes just like it does back home in HI. All the employees here are so nice & welcoming. This Zippys will always be a stop we have to make every single time we come to Vegas!

A very nice atmosphere to enjoy food. The food is plentiful and HUGE PORTIONS. Food is well prepared and has TONS OF FLAVOR. The staff is super friendly and a very unique dining experience. You can dine-in, pick-up, and even order from the bakery. Tons of menu options and you feel the Ohana. Also, very well cleaned restaurants. Enjoy this experience from a local establishment from Hawaii. Cheers!

Me and my friend went in for dine in for my birthday around 6:30pm. The place was packed but we got in pretty quickly surprisingly not too long of a wait in line. The inside and outside of the establishment was clean and very welcoming. Atmosphere was invitingly peaceful.
I got the zip pack and the food arrived in good timing, everything was seasoned well except for a few issues.
The rice was a little dry and everything except the fried fish/chicken was kind of lukewarm. I was expecting all my food to be steaming hot but it was lukewarm (the rice,Teri beef & spam) and slightly flaccid in texture.
The service was awesome and the staff even wished me a happy birthday with a slice of a cake I’m eternally grateful for. They were attentive & courteous.
I would love to come back again and try out the rest of the menu in due time. Reminds me of my hanabata days and would gladly return several times over. 🍽🤟🏿🤙🏿

Tried this place for the first time , it was busy at night came for lunch and was disappointed.
Wait time was 30-45mins , got to the table it was not wiped and greasy.
Order the WTM SOUP soups was lukewarm warm bowls were greasy , utensils were greasy and had a fishy smelled and no soup spoons. Flavor is bland and won tons just had a weird taste and smell to it. Front the pics we didn’t finish out meal.
Pastures were mediocre and $3-$4 each eh.
Ratings on this place is way off 4 stars I don’t believe it.

UPDATE: My family and I decided to stop here again for brunch; our initial visit was during dinner hours. The experience was phenomenal as expected! We ordered the Zip Pac Deluxe, Portuguese Sausage Omelette, Zip Min, Side Order of Portuguese Sausage, Dobash Cake, Chantilly Cake, Apple Napple, and Glazed Mochizada - I've attached new pictures from this visit. The food was outstanding and our server, Marites, did a superb job - very fast, efficient, attentive, and most of all, friendly employee!! 🤙

My family and I got to finally visit this new Las Vegas Zippy's and I'm glad we did because this restaurant did not disappoint. Growing up on the islands, I had the luxury of eating at Zippy's so many times - I can always remember having the chili with hot dog and fried chicken, along with the infamous Zip Pac. Aside from this restaurant not actually being in Hawaii, I still had a tremendous feeling of nostalgia coming here.
When we pulled into the parking lot, I was amazed at how many cars there were - majority of the parking spots were filled to include some folks parking in the dirt field across the street. When we walked in, you immediately had the feeling of Aloha, minus the island temperature and humidity. Also, seeing all the assorted pastries right as you walk in, definitely reminded me of Napoleon's Bakery back home.
The host on duty was very friendly as he took our name down. The wait time was ~30-45 minutes which considering the amount of people waiting in the lobby to be seated, along with the amount of folks waiting in the to-go line, compared to the amount of employees, I thought the wait time was accurate. And to tell you the truth, I would've waited even if the wait time was about 1-2 hours because it was our goal to eat here while our daughter was in town for her holiday break.
When we finally got seated, our primary server, Jackie, immediately took our drink orders, followed by taking down our food orders after our drinks arrived. Jackie did a phenomenal job with us; she was very attentive, friendly, professional, and moved very swiftly. She answered all questions and followed-thru with all my requests in a timely manner (extra napkin requests, etc.). My family ordered the following:
ENTREE: Portuguese Bean Soup, Korean Fried Chicken, Zip Pac Deluxe, Surf Pac Deluxe, and Saimin.
DESSERT: Apple Napple, Malasada, and Apple Pie.
DRINKS: Fruit Punch and Lilikoi Juice.
Everything was scrumptious and tasted just like I remembered. The saimin wasn't exactly what I had at my local "Shiro's Saimin Haven" in Aiea, but the flavor was still outstanding. This was actually the first time eating a Zip Pac in a Zippy's dining area because I normally get those to-go...so eating it on an actual plate instead of a bento-style box just felt weird to me but the flavor was still the same (obviously).
Overall, my family and I enjoyed this restaurant. One of the biggest downfalls is that they built this restaurant way too far from our house (we live in the far Northwest part of Las Vegas). But I guess it's a good thing because I'd probably eat here multiple times per week. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was reasonable - I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! 🤙

For the first zippy's that opened out from the mainland, I am glad they had opened it here in Vegas.
Staff is great and attentive!! Food is good.
Be advised that take out menu is cheaper than dining in, but dining in with the family is always a great time.
I've been told that there will be more items added to the menu soon.
Please make it available for us customers to make a reservation through the website, as that request online isn't available to us yet.

I’ve traveled to Hawaii many times with my family and a stop to Zippy’s is always on our schedule. We went to Las Vegas for thanksgiving and we’re excited to see they had opened a Zippy location there. My favorite dish is the Portuguese bean soup and I couldn’t wait to try it. There was a 30 minute wait once we got there. As a party of 6, we ordered the Korean chicken plate, the Korean Chicken with chili, and the surf PAC deluxe. All plates were ordered as a meal with the Portuguese soup, chantilly cake with drinks. The service was good. We had to ask for new silverware because ours had dried up food stuck to it. The cups all had white residue from the dishwasher. One of the Surf pac plates came cold, where you can see the chili had a dry film over it from standing on a counter for too long. The Portuguese soup was good. A little bit thicker than I remember it. The Korean chicken plates were all good. The chantilly cake was a little dry but the flavor was good. We ordered a dozen malasadas. Malasadas we’re amazing! Overall, we think the Zippys in Hawaii are better but we’re not completely ruling out this location. I would come back just for the soup and the malasadas.

Zippy's finally made it to the Ninth Island with open arms and Aloha from the Locals of Las Vegas. Line went around the building, but it only took 20 minutes to get inside. There are two separate lines, one for takeout/ bakery to the left. Dine in and counter service to right. The staff was amazing. The food brought back good, delicious family memories of being back on the island. I had the spam omelet for breakfast and ordered the teriyaki to go - dinner is served . I also got a box of Malasada to go, and I'm not sharing 🤪

Manage your expectations!
First off, if you didn't grow up in Hawaii or don't have strong Hawaii ties, you're not really going to get the food or vibe of this place
Second, this is brand new for Zippy's in the mainland so they don't have their full menu.
I waited a couple weeks for the hype to die down and my first visit was great...easy parking, short wait, fast and friendly service. I was able to get one of my favorite dishes, spaghetti with meat sauce and extra garlic bread. Comfort food for me. I got a piece of fried chicken because I was hungry, but their style of fried chicken isn't really for me. Their Chantilly cake is just meh.
I do love the fact they are open early and close late (6:00 am - 12:00 am) I LOVE Hawaiian style breakfast and you couldn't get it anywhere all day until now. Zippy's is not the best, but good enough and will always be old reliable for local food.
Their malasadas are pretty solid, but it's hit or miss on their availability. Probably call ahead.
