The key aspect of this restaurant is Mexican and Thai cuisines. Nicely cooked thai salmon, grilled octopus and soft tacos have a pleasant taste. You can order tasty gelato, chocolate soufflés and coconut ice cream. Get your meal started with good martinis, margaritas or wine. Based on the reviewers' opinions, cortado is good. You can enjoy live music in the evening. Zibu is recommended for the cool staff. The enjoyable service is something these restaurateurs care about. This place provides dishes at adequate prices. The lovely decor and pretty ambiance let clients feel relaxed here. Google users like this spot: it was rated 4.7 stars.

Amazing experience, excellent quality sea foods and tacos. I took the shrimps and ribs tacos, hard to explain in words how good they were. Rodrigo was the best waiter, nothing short of perfect service. Highly recommend. Mex-Thai fusion restaurant with good food and an outstanding view over the Puerto Marques bay Restaurant located on the top of the hill between Puerto Marques and Acapulco. It comprises 2 main seating areas, one below a huge tree and a second one on a semicircular terrace with a direct view in the bay. Food wise the venue is quite interesting with Thai dishes revisited with Mexican products. A great combination especially for an area like Acapulco with a lot of fresh seafood. Out of the dishes we tried the tuna tartare and the Camarones Sol y Sombre were the best starter and main respectively. For the dessert we choose a chocolate volcano cooked in a Molcajete, nothing to complain here but not outstanding either. Overall the food was good to very good and the prices in line with similar restaurants. The cocktails inflated the bill significantly, which were in my view overpriced. You need to book as the restaurant is fully seated on the weekends at least and works with 2 services for dinner. I deducted one star for i) the cocktail's prices and ii) the time it took to the staff to reaccomodate us when it started raining but still recommend to go there while in Acapulco! If you haven't been to Zibu yet you are missing out. I made reservations for my grandma's birthday dinner and she loved everything we had. We were seated quickly and had very speedy service. Everyone from the staff was very attentive and helpful, with great customer service skills. We had multiple dishes and we were offered complimentary bread sticks and seafood chalupas. Their drinks were very well made and even offered non alcoholic mocktails. Aside from the food being delicious, the view of the city is breathtaking. They have ample space to wait for your table while you enjoy the scenic view along with great photo opportunities. Although there are covered tables this is mostly outdoor sitting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience in Acapulco. I can't wait to go back.
The food was very enjoyable, the 4 stars representing a great rating in my mind. 5 stars for the staff and the view. We will return without hesitating. The staff was very helpful and supportive: We showed up a day early for our reservations, the restaurant was very full, but they found a table for us anyway; actually a great table with a wonderful view. Then the staff for the tables apparently has almost no English speaking folks, but the waiter that spoke some English, and I who speak a little Spanish had a great time selecting meals and wine. P.S. my phone had an English version of the menu and wine list via their website. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100–200
We had a tasting here for an event we are planning. WOW! The food is phenomenal! Not to mention the view. I seriously could eat there once a week fo the rest of my life. The little croissant rolls stuffed with cheese were delightful. My favorite part was the desert. We tried both vegan and meat option for our attendees, and the pad Thai was very unique. It has Tamarando in it! 10/10 for this place. Strongly recommend!!!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
This places is so beautiful, the decor, the view, the ambiance is incredible. It really gives you a fun, elegant, Asian vibes. Too bad food wasn’t really that good, it had nothing special, they try to make a Mex-Thai menu but the combination wasn’t really that good. Also service wasn’t great, it was difficult to get people to serve us, it was a little slow, and made a mess with our bill.
Friends suggested us to visit this restaurant, as probably the best in Acapulco, being not inexpensive. Our expectations were fully satisfied: the atmosphere is incredible, the waiters and personell are very kind, attentive and and well organized; the food is delicious, we chose 5 different plates, all came at the same time and perfect in exposition and taste! Drinks are very good and desserts are so yummy!! The bill was totally worth the amazing experience we had for the night: I strongly recommend a visit. Make sure to make your reservation on time, also a couple of days ahead.
The view is amazing! It's not a cheap place but the food and the view worth it. Any dish is delicious! You won't get wrong. We had early dinner so we can see the sunset. Make sure you make reservation ahead of time because it gets full. We had the octopus, the shrimp, soft shell crab, tuna tataki, salmon and their signature dessert.
A must in Acapulco! It’s located in the iconic Escénica and has a breath taking view of the bay. Great for big groups, has a tranquil and elegant vibe. Loved our dinner experience as there was a live performer with a guitar and harmonica. I highly recommend the short rib tacos - perfectly crispy, and the coconut soup. For entrees, go for the lobster, the butter marinade is great, or the charred octopus. The chocolate soufflé was not great - the inside wasn’t gooey. Prices are high but worth it. Waiters are friendly and attentive.
