Japanese cuisine is what this restaurant boasts. Nicely cooked rolls, takoyaki and salmon have an appetizing taste. In accordance with the guests' opinions, waiters serve good beer. The high ratings of Yamatatsu Japanese Restaurant would be impossible without the well-trained staff. Cool service is something clients like here. If you visit this place, certainly, you are to love the surrounding pretty atmosphere. Based on the visitors' feedback on Google, this spot deserved 4.5.

The food at this restaurant is undeniably delicious, but regrettably, it falls short of justifying its rather high price point. Would you believe that our bill totaled a hefty 3,000 pesos? Fortunately, the ambiance made up for it to some extent; the place was pleasantly spacious and not overly crowded when we dined there, with only one other table occupied. However, it's worth mentioning that there's a distinct odor upon entering, reminiscent of a wet market. On the plus side, the staff were quite accommodating, which was a redeeming factor. In all honesty, I had set rather high expectations for this establishment, possibly influenced by the numerous positive reviews it has garnered. I’ve been looking for good Japanese at the Tomas Morato area, and this is definitely one of the good ones. Service is good, serving size generous, food tastes great. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ₱600–800 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes EBI Ten Don

Ordered the Kaisen Don and it was so different from what was shown on the menu There was no tamago, no shrimp, and no uni! All of which were shown on its photo on the menu. The salmon and tuna sashimi slices were so thin. The octopus was leathery and the cuttlefish was slimy When I asked the waitress about the mismatch from what was displayed and served they said that they were out of those ingredients. They didn’t bother to say this when I ordered, however, and I specifically asked what was in the Kaisen don The chef even got furious when I brought up this issue, saying he replaced the missing uni, shrimp and tamago with a tablespoon of tamago bits in sriracha mayo. Still had to pay for my dish in full. Sad, I was willing to pay premium for a favorite dish of mine only to be shortchanged and skimped on with the very best parts of it I hope this gets read before another customer gets scammed like me. Small portion done expected for the price, the sushi boat I ordered lack salmon sashimi which should be a part of it, they quickly add when I asked about this. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ₱1,800–2,000 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
The booking for Isabiri but apparently the restaurant has changed management and it’s name to Yamatatsu. The place is not crowded on a weekday lunch time. They offer free house tea (hot and cold). The food is just okay but the price does not match the quality of the food. The staff is nice and responsive. There is parking above the restaurant with a fee of P45.

Freshest sashimi I’ve eaten in QC— their uni and salmon sashimi are comparable to higher end restaurants. Spicy salmon sashimi is comparable to Nihonbashitei and their ebi tempura is very good too (but quality seems inconsistent, my family didn’t like their tempura on a separate visit) Their gyudon is one of the best I’ve tried here in the PH!

Came in for lunch on a Saturday and it was surprisingly quiet. Good ventilation, friendly staff, and amazing tasting food. Menu was just a bit overwhelming because there were a lot of choices but what we did end up eating tasted really good and fresh. Would definitely come around again.
About the Business: Tagawa Japanese Restaurant & Karaoke Bar is a Japanese restaurant located at J2HM+PPG, Tomas Morato Ave, Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila PH. Isaribi is a new found Japanese Resto in Tomas Morato. They serve affordable japanese food, my recommendations are their Don meals like Oyakudon Salmondon and Gyudon, they also serve freshly cooked Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki :) Their sushi sets are also a sight for your eyes and tongue. Just be sure to order right away since cooking time takes long. One good thing though is they have their own parking :) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The servings are huge, and the seafood is very fresh. Some items were not available when we visited but they offered plenty of replacement options. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
