Met a friend at the Hmart food court. We decided to get stone bowl bibim bap from Woojean. The food is steaming hot so be careful when taking the first couple of bites. I thought the food presentation was good but it lack a bit of flavor. The rice was a bit mushy but you get the crispy burnt part at the bottom, which I enjoyed. Overall, it was a good dish, just wished it had it more meat and seasoning. 1/21/24 noon time. The 2 guys behind the counter were speaking openly racist. Their conversation was clearly triggered by my black wife that I was dining with in front of their store. It wasn’t something we were meant to hear but unfortunately I am fluent in Korean and sat close enough to hear. It’s disgusting that people are still like this in 2024. Will not ever be returning here again. Shame on you. It’s pathetic and embarrassing. Service: 1

The soup was okay. The noodles could have been better quality. The broth could have had more flavor as well. Cheap ingredients used.

Soup didn’t taste great. It can be more flavorful. I have usually had sticky rice in Korean places. This rice was dry and not sticky Price per person $10–20

Great spot in the H Mart food court (it’s the second stall on your way in). I personally recommend the pad Thai and the basil fried rice. Both are always a home run and are rather large portioned. Service is fast and the staff is friendly. A great spot for sure.
It’s not my first time eating here at the food court in Hmart but I thought to leave a review for Woojeon which is located towards the end. I got the soondubu jigae 순두푸찌개, and I love this dish because it has so much tofu and the soup is flavorful. It comes with two side dishes (kimchi+bean sprouts), seaweed 김, and a bowl of rice. Definitely a solid meal :) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Inside the H-Mart food court, so seating is impossible to find during weekends (photos taken at 7:45pm on a Sunday night). Kalbi is pricey, but good for the suburbs. Wish it came with soup. Bibimbap is skimpy on the bulgogi but reasonably priced at $9.99 for the stone pot.
I’ve been coming here at least once a week for many years! I always get Soondooboo 순두부 because it’s so good, especially in the winter! Sure, the broth’s density sometimes varies but I still love it! And one lady at the front has always been consistently nice and friendly!
The chicken bibimbap was barely okay. The rice was mushy and not crispy at the bottom. The fried egg was overdone. The lady at the counter couldn't be more rude and bitter. I asked about a dish and decided to go with the bibimbap else instead. She jumped in almost angrily about the other dish I asked about. When I told her that it was okay with the bibimbap, she immediately changed to a much more bitter tone. When I was done eating, I brought the hot plate back to them, and she rudely told me to put it on top of the trash bins. I've eaten here before, and they were very thankful that I brought the dish back there. Not her. Anyway, I'm not going back here. Awesome Korean restaurant located at the back of the food court inside Hmart. The people serving are really nice, food came out reasonably quick, and the portions are pretty big for the price. I’m a big fan of the kimchi and the little package of seaweed they give you on the side!
