Lovely place with friendly service. The tuna steak was very tender but the "bread tomato base" was a bit bland. The tuna might also benefit from a few more spices. The beef was tasty and the highlight was certainly the chocolate mousse with some side spices (pepper, salt, moscatel, olive oil). I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wine Corner, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the charming ambiance and unique decor. The restaurant's interior design, with its eye-catching ceiling adorned with green wine bottles, immediately set the tone for a delightful culinary journey. The menu at Wine Corner offers a wide variety of delectable dishes, and I had the opportunity to sample some of their standout items. The "chocos (potras with lemon maionese)" was a true delight, showcasing perfectly cooked and seasoned squid that simply melted in my mouth. The flavors were bold and harmonious, leaving me craving for more. Another highlight was the "carpaccio de novilho," a dish that showcased the restaurant's commitment to using high-quality ingredients. The thinly sliced beef was incredibly tender, and the accompanying seasoning added a burst of flavors that elevated the dish to new heights. It was a true testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs at Wine Corner. The restaurant also impressed me with its selection of traditional Portuguese dishes. The "gaspacho" (Spanish of origin though) , refreshing and flavorful soup, perfect for the summer season. And let's not forget the "tábuas de enchidos" and assortment of delicious cheeses from the region. The charcuterie and cheese boards were thoughtfully curated, offering a wide range of flavors and textures that pleased my palate. Of course, a visit to Wine Corner wouldn't be complete without exploring their impressive wine list. The restaurant takes pride in showcasing a variety of local wines, and the knowledgeable staff is more than happy to recommend pairings that complement each dish. The wine selection truly enhanced my dining experience, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. One aspect of Wine Corner that stood out to me was the option to dine in their outdoor garden. The serene atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery, provided a relaxing backdrop for a memorable meal. Whether you choose to sit indoors or outdoors, the restaurant offers a comfortable and inviting setting that encourages you to savor every bite. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
Yesterday we were at this place and we got risotto and catch for the day -we were not impressed by that food 🥑 But the starters are alright.. But the women that served us immediately got to the bar and talked about me because we are not from Portugal and there was a guy who had the best service ever and he was kind also... When I was ordering a desert from the guy a woman came to me and said he didn't understand so well English can you say it again and I said bring me the i pad but she didn't she helped all the other guests ... Five minutes later he came with the desert ..... he should have the attention for best service and behaviour not the women ... Portugal to a tee very traditional cooking menu and tastes. The iPad type menu worked for us as this area is not necessarily all English speaking. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €45–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My experience at this restaurant was far from satisfactory. I would strongly advise against dining here. The entrecôte was overpriced and of poor quality. For 33 euros, I received a small portion of meat that was riddled with nerves. The pork was equally disappointing. It was so meager that we had to order french fries to supplement our meal. The cod fish was another culinary disaster. It was excessively salty and contained hard, inedible pieces. It seemed like they had mixed leftovers from the previous day into the dish. The place is called “Wine Corner”, however, we were never offered any wine, which we found quite peculiar. The ham plate, which was supposed to be a starter, arrived simultaneously with our main courses. For a measly 20 euros, we received a small portion of ham that we barely touched. Parking was a nightmare. After circling the block three times, I finally managed to find a spot. To make matters worse, the waiter greeted us with an accusatory tone, implying that we were late for our reservation. We had arrived just five minutes past the scheduled time, which hardly seems like a cause for alarm. To top it off, they provided us with a single iPad to serve as our menu for a table of four. This was an inefficient and cumbersome way to order. If they intend to embrace technology, they should invest in a proper system, not rely on a single shared device. This was my first and last time dining at this establishment. I urge you to heed my advice and avoid this disappointing restaurant altogether. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
Dad and I had a lovely lunch here after a beautiful beach hike at Cabo de Pichel in Sesimbra. I had the Tuna Tataki with a savory tomato bread pudding and pesto sauce which was one of the most innovative, tasty, and comforting dishes I’ve had in a long time. 🌿❤️👌🏽🌟 Dad had the Tuna Prego- a tuna steak sandwich that comes with mango chutney and a super light alioli. This was crazy delicious; if you enjoy sweet and savory, this is the dish for you.✨✨✨✨✨👌🏽 We were lucky to have Isabella as our server; she was the sweetest, most accommodating server we’ve had in Portugal. 🙌🏽⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I also had a glass of the House white wine, the dryer of the two options. It was very smooth and went perfectly with the fish. 🤌🏽🫶🏽🙏🏽 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €15–20
Great food, inviting place and reasonable service. Was planing to share a desert but they were definitely just for one person. Loved the homemade chocolate mousse, but the deserts were a bit expensive for the quantity served. Hope they were all made with quality products.
It was ok, I really liked the people serving at the place. The prices are a little bit expensive to my taste. Service Dine in Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
We greeted at the door and told they can only serve snacks but unfortunately they can’t serve us snacks!? This place is starting to lose its quality. Note to response - it was not an issue of not having a table, there were plenty available tables, what you may have been lacking is a capable kitchen service. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
