From the moment I stepped into this place, I knew I was in for a treat. The vibe is unmistakably vibrant, with a decor that perfectly encapsulates a laid-back beach and alternative vibe. It's a fantastic neighborhood spot, whether you're looking to hang out with friends, find a quiet corner to work in, or simply relax and people-watch after a leisurely walk on the beach.
The drinks menu left me impressed, especially with their inclusion of modern and vegan options. I opted for the pumpkin oat milk chai, and it was nothing short of divine. The flavors were balanced beautifully, making every sip a delightful experience. But the surprises didn't stop there. The pistachio baklava, a creative and wonderfully executed dessert option, was the perfect accompaniment to my drink. It was nice, with just the right blend of sweetness and nuttiness

I stumbled on this place while looking for a spot to have some coffee as I wrote my dad’s eulogy. With sunshine pouring in through the windows and beautiful tunes like Lucy Dacus’s “Night Shift” playing on the stereo, I couldn’t have found a better spot. The kind baristas make excellent coffee! Street parking is free, easy and abundant. The cafe is located just a hundred yards front the Long Island Sound. Kid and pet friendly! I’ll be back.

We discovered this spot on our weekend trek to visit a new park, in this case the nearby Audubon Society. Stopped here and had a wonderful brunch and coffee and loved the charming setting to hang out. Walnut Beach is adorable!

Love this place! The food is amazing and the coffee is always fresh. The only thing that makes it challenging is the smoke and smell from the kitchen, which makes it hard to stay and work for too long without developing a headache. Otherwise, the staff are really friendly.

I have given this place three chances and after today I will not be back. Disappointed bc I was hoping for a good cafe after the bees knees closed. Coffee is ok but overpriced, service is eh the people who work there aren’t rude but they aren’t friendly and don’t see to be too knowledgeable about their product/what is going on… and the food is terrible. Paid $7+ for this bacon egg and cheese, come to find out fake eggs and fake bacon! So gross I ended up feeding it to my dog. Highly disappointed.

I loved the chai latte here! It was one of the best I've had! The French toast though was more plain toast, and when it was asked to add an egg onto the avocado toast, it was a hardboiled egg.
