I placed an order for a cake for my son’s birthday. I have been calling them for 3 days to check on something for the cake but have been unable to reach ANYONE. There have been no answers in any department. I finally showed up today to speak with someone. The woman at the bakery told me that they weren’t accepting custom cake orders, and that my cake for my son’s birthday in 2 days wouldn’t be done. Now I’m having to figure something else out in 2 days. I’m incredibly disappointed and frustrated. Service: 1

I will never order a cake from here again. No one ever answers the phone so I placed an order online and received a cancellation 2 days before the party through email. Someone could have at least called. Now I have to figure out how to get my son a cake in time for his birthday.

I called to place a custom order of about $200-300 for an event I'm hosting. I got the automated, "Thank you for calling the Walmart Bakery!" then an employee answered with, "Hi." I said, "Hi, how are you today?" And she said, "Hi." again. I know the bakery was without a decorator for a short time, so I asked, "Are you able to accept custom cupcake orders?" She immediately hung up on me. I tried calling three more times and no one answered. I tried calling the main WalMart line for this store and they connected me to the Bakery, but she did not answer again. I make about 5 custom cake orders a year for my job, and I'll be taking those orders somewhere else now.
