I haven't been here in a while, but it is actually a lot better than what I remember. The service was good, our order came out quick and the portions were more than enough. They just need to improve on their housekeeping. The prices are great! Okay, we went back for breakfast again. The prices and food are good, but I won't be back again. The staff really needs to do a better job of keeping this restaurant clean instead of spending so much time on their cellphones.👎👎 They really need to clean up this restaurant. Sticky bottles , sticky counters , and dirty floors. I hate to see what it looks like behind the counter. Close it for a day to just clean. Mesquite code enforcement needs to write them up!!! MAN! I wish I would have taken a picture of my food here. My best friend and I came here TWO days in a Row!!!! When I tell you these were the best grits I ever had at a Waffle House I mean it, they were seasoned and perfect texture. THE WAFFLE WAS PERFECT!!!! The food was cooked with a lot of love. Literally compliments to the chef. 🤌🏼😘 I have been to many waffle houses and this one BY FAR is the best one. Friendly staff - good food - clean facility. Prompt service The staff was singing and had music on too - so that made the environment that much better. Waffle House is Waffle House. Don’t come here if you want to complain about how dirty it is… Having said that, the service at this location in South Mesquite was amazing and welcoming. We visited Waffle House this morning. It was somewhat busy, which we didn’t mind waiting. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese biscuit along with hash browns. It tasted good but my only complaint was that I only got one bacon in my sandwich. It normally comes with two. I guess the cook put me on a diet lol. First Time Visiting this Location Niece aka Blue Eyes was a amazing waitress & Demarcus also assited me with no problem. He is a great listener over heard me asking for sweetener as another employee heard and ignored me. He jump in and helped. Hats off to Blue Eyes and Demarcus. This was a enjoyable as well as delicious food made fresh. I will stop anytime I'm I'm this area. Extremely pleasant and Extraordinary Service. These two deserve something special. In these days most restaurants have employees that hate their jobs. These two are a special example Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So they are so short staffed that the entire place has not been cleaned so no one can sit down. They said they have no clean silverware or dishes. The whole cooking station is horrid. I saw one of the employees eating bacon while cooking. I saw the same employee put bacon from the same plate he ate off that was sitting there for who knows how long put some of it on the customers plate. I feel bad but management should know don't open if you have no workers. The employees are still in happy spirits though. The food is good hence the three stars.

Worst customer skill service ever. The young black waiter who is there between the hours of 12:00 noon and 1:51 needs training. I made my order and paid, but while waiting on my change she hadn't given it to me yet. I step out to get my phone out of my car. After coming back she didn't give it to me still. So I ask for it and she gives me a dum look. The point is she never asked if I wanted it. It's called customer courtesy let the customer decide what tip he/she wants to give you don't keep their money like they owed you. Service Dine in Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Walked into store at 630 this morning. Sat down two kids at counter were talking to each other other two ladies acted like they did not see us. No hello, we'll be right with you or anything. Walked out no one said anything as we left. Worse experience I have ever had in a restaurant, I will never return. And if some asks me about it I will tell the to go to another place. Service: 1

Loved the food but since I was with a group of 10 friends, it took them an hour to find us tables. And couple of orders were messed up. Had to spend almost 2 hours that day at the place.
