We went here for a quick snack before going to a restaurant and celebrating New Year. Unfortunately, we got food poisoning from this pub and have been sick for 2 days and spent our new year in bed. We had a big basket, and i would advise you to check your food more often before serving. The service was good, but i can't give more than 1 star for food poisoning. Edit: we only had breakfast that morning around 8:30, where we both had a different breakfast, pancakes, and bread with eggs. The lunch was the first meal we got after that at around 16:00. Within an hour, we began feeling sick. So, unfortunately, it couldn't have been anything else. Thanks for the response, and hopefully, we were just an unlucky exception! The personal was great! Only had some drinks and a plate of chips, amazing atmosphere even while it was as raining and wet. Extremely friendly waitron that is knowledge about the area and advice on sights & surroundings. Price per person R 200–250 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Good beer 🍺 and gin on tap 🍻 Food is rather decent and big portions Has a generator for loadshedding. Staff are friendly.

Just stay far away from this hole. Only 10 tables but you wait 2 hours for a burger. So many good restaurants in the area, no reason to waste time and money at this mess Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Had a wonderful (and affordable) dinner at this nice out door pub in the Village at Wilderness. Ribs were very good and the owners could not have been more accommodating. Great ribs, coleslaw, cocktails! We had tried the pub next door the previous night and to be honest the food was almost inedible. So glad we gave this little place next doors try.

Im not exaggerating when i say that i had one of the best burgers in my life in this place! Very yummy burgers, especially the Jalapeño one! And the staff is very friendly indeed! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visit the Village Pub and book a table for the Jan Blohm show and we were eating the Spare Ribs and Chips with was Excellent best spare I have ever eating tender from the bone the best place to enjoy the show thanks Jan Blohm

Food is more burgers and snacks which are very good. Some steaks. Mainly outdoors so bring a jacket in winter or cold times. Full bar. My only disappointment is that it does not have its own WiFi and you need to connect to the village free WiFi which is so slow you lucky to get a WhatsApp message. There own TV was also poor when they streamed onto TV as next door was running 2 minutes ahead of us and occasionally it had a reconnecting in the middle of a Springbok game. Today if a pub does not offer its own fast WiFi will not get my support. The blind pig down the road has good fast WiFi.

Lovely little place with very friendly and efficient waiters, ribs were phenomenal. Food arrived super quickly and were able to watch the rugby under the trees👌
