the food was bespoke and flavour full, very good recommendations from the hostess a memorable experience. We returned after 7 years and were not disappointed. The gin was refreshing and a enjoyable pairing with the meal. My husband and I both ordered the executive meal at lunch. The quality was fantastic. The service was attentive and educated. This was Japanese sushi true to the art not a hybrid version. I strongly recommend getting the executive meal if you’re there for lunch! The food presentation is outstanding, the flavor is delicious and the restaurant is sophisticated. The staff are attentive and friendly. Francisco and his wife (unfortunately I don't know her name) are very attentive and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Just had dinner at Velvet. Amazing presentation and selection of food. One of the best I've had and I've eaten at many of Japan's best sushi restaurants.
