You HAVE to give the shaggy dog roll a try! My new favorite sushi in The Woodlands. I can’t believe this place isn’t more popular! The service is wonderful and the food is extraordinary. I will always be around to support this local business!

This place is a hidden gem in The Woodlands. We ordered take-out tonight and it is easily the best Chinese/Japanese food we've had here. The Lo Mein is the best!! Orange chicken was spicy and good and based off another review we tried the chicken and eggplant- also great! The inside of the restaurant was clean and well decorated and we'll definitely be back to dine in.

This is my go to sushi place. Every time I order a pick- up order, it is always ready by the time I get there. The sushi is very fresh and always delicious. My favorites are Tiger- Eye Roll and Orange Dragon Roll. It was my first time dining in last night with my family and it was amazing. Micheal our server was attentive and had a bubbly personality. He was always there with a new drink refill. This was surprisingly for me, because I drink my sodas very fast. We got a couple of dishes and all of them were amazing and were not greasy. Will definitely come back to dine in and will always come back for pick up orders.

Great food, great service. Shelbie took care of us with big smiles and attention to detail. We had lunch specials, great price for large portions. Hot n Sour soup was hearty, egg rolls nice and crispy, and entrees had flavors that popped. Can’t wait to come back and try the Japanese dishes too. We’ll definitely be back.
Our first time eating here and it was DELICIOUS! Sushi was fresh and ample cuts of fish. Egg rolls were crispy. Sizzling pepper steak was so good as was sizzling jumbo shrimp! We’ll definitely be back! Great new restaurant in Sterling Ridge Center.
Everything was fresh and delicious.
The restaurant is located right next to Perry's.
Salmon carpaccio stood out to me as an interesting and unusual appetizer. Glad we tried it.

We wanted to try this restaurant based on all the positive reviews. Place was empty when we arrived. We had to wait to get seated.
Our waitress was nice and took our order right away.
We ordered Spicy Edamame and they were delicious. For lunch we ordered Sushi Combo and Sushi Roll Combo. The fish in the Sushi was tasteless and didn’t feel fresh at all. It wasn’t bad, but the flavor was lacking. It was just bland. Was expecting a lot more from this restaurant.
We tried this place a couple of times and I have to say we were very impressed with the quality of food. We tried from sushi and the Asian dinner menu and the everything was outstanding. Our favorites are Mongolian Chicken, Texans rolls, cilantro pesto rolls, kids' lo mein, shredded beef with beans, and chicken with asparagus. The green tea martini is also nice

My first time in was a last-minute choice to order some takeout. I'm very picky about my Asian food and am always happy to find a good place. Uptown did not disappoint! Their menu had several of your traditional Asian fusion dishes, similar to that of PF Chang's (and similar pricing). But Uptown had some amazing sushi choices as well. I didn't want sushi that particular day, so I ordered their shrimp lettuce wraps. I personally like PF Chang's version better, but my son loved Uptown's, too. Their spicy garlic edemame was Uh-maze-ing! Another customer came in to order takeout who had recommended the edemame. She also recommended their sushi highly. I have celiac disease, and although their menu didn't distinguish this, they can make so many dishes GF friendly. The hostess was above and beyond helpful, the manager was great, and I can't wait to go back for their sushi. In fact, I may just go tomorrow!

Uptown Asian Fusion finally took over the empty space where Nit Noi used to stand but unfortunately while the restaurant is pretty, the standard of food is pretty poor.
I came here for lunch and had the general TSO tofu with miso soup. To be honest my expectations was pretty low since I am not so keen on American Chinese. I will write that I really appreciate the restaurant going out of it ways to put the sauce on the side and I am glad I asked because the sauce was sweet. The fried rice that came with it was stale and the vegetables didn't look so fresh. I asked for lemon for my tea and the first one the waitress gave me had mold. I asked to replace it and the next one she gave me was very old riped and looked like it should have been thrown away ages ago.
Overall they are a new restaurant and are still on soft opening but hopefully they will review their ingredients and serve fresher food.
