Friendly staff, atmosphere is a bar, like the name says. Chowder so salty and thick it was in editable. Worst chowder I've had. I suspect it was yesterday's chowder reheated and resulted. Left hungry. Didn't complain because the waitress never came back over to check on us before we were done. Walked to the bar to pay. She was busy so we paid and left. This is a neat bar and grill. The food was good and the service was awesome. They even have a big fish tank. It has a huge iscar named butters. I was told butters is a female. I even talked to the boss lady. She is really nice. All and all we had a great time and suggest if you're ever in Netarts Oregon to definitely give this place a try. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

On vacation, friends recommended Upstairs Bar and Grill. Went to Thursday night kerioke. Had a great time. I had the dinner special of tuna steak, steamed vegetables, and rice. I'm low carb and they accommodated me me by switching out the rice for a salad. Nice dinner and atmosphere. A new waitress messed up our bill which is unsettling, but someone else corrected it. Jessica is awesome. I’ve been coming to the coast for years and happened upon this today. The absolute best prawn basket I’ve had on the west coast. I’ll now go out of my way to get this again. Great find during off season! We loved the fact that it’s no-kids-allowed. Thank you for that! The service was excellent, and the food was on point. Cocktails were reasonably priced and good as well. The food was pretty good overall. The only knock I have is that the chowder was a little too thick and the coleslaw had zero flavor. Otherwise, phenomenal fried fish sandwich, great oyster burger, and some of the best fried mushrooms I’ve ever had. Great fun cocktails too. Also Jess, our bartender/waitress, was the best. Super friendly and attentive despite being very occupied with everyone in the establishment. The atmosphere is that of a real, old-school-roadside bar/restaurant. Nice chill place to have beer! Jalapeño burger was the shiz, fish and chips was fresh and hand battered all good portions. Staff was cool, friendly, and attentive. Jess is so kind. The staff are very nice and efficient. I woofed down my huge breakfast burrito, half couldnt finish it. 2 veg/meat/eggs and cheese wrapped in a gourmet tortilla. Set atop a bunch of shredded potatoes. Great coffee topped me off. More of a great restaurant than bar! Friendly people and patrons. It looks like a fun place ! I loved the out lay. The food was came out very quickly , I was surprised by this as they appeared under staffed. Only one waitress trying to keep up with the customers. This is a great place to grab a beer. The bar is fully staffed and the selection was slightly diverse than the typical domestic taps. They serve decent bar food as well. I had fried oysters. They were pretty average as far as bar food goes, but easily improved with a dash of salt and some lime slices nabbed from the condiment tray. The patrons are friendly locals, and they fill the bar with conversation and laughter. They will engage you so don't come here if you're an introvert. They have a dog friendly patio and all the typical bar amenities.
