A wonderful place right on the lake front. They serve a range of cold drinks and they do pizza, great pizza. A cold beer, a Spicy Mexican, live music and watch the sun go down over Lake Taupo.....that's an evening to remember! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The location, atmosphere and music were awsome and would come back just for that. However the service was very unfriendly and unhelpful. No smiles at all from any of the staff and they were just all very unfriendly. So confused with the high reviews re the pizzas?? The pizzas were overpriced and were the worst I've ever had!! They were dry and burnt and very underwhelming re flavor (mine tasted mostly like tomato paste). I would go back for a drink only mainly for the beautiful views and cool vibe and hope the staff were a little happier /friendlier next time. Price per person $50–60 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

We arrived and asked for a menu. The guy barked at us that they were on the tables, which they weren't. When we asked again for a menu, he just repeated himself. The place was almost empty except for staff. One truly horrible cup of coffee and a expensive muffin later, we left feeling quite let down. Went for breakfast at the 2 mile yacht club, unfortunately it was completely burnt, my husbands was also inedible with burnt food and the bacon nearly raw one side and charcoal the other. Beautiful location but would not eat there again. Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Stunning lake side restaurant/bar Kids can swim all day. EVEN in the rain like this day. No matter the weather, you can sit inside or outside under umbrellas or on the sand. Seasonal staff friendly. Pizzas are beautiful. Coffee could be improved. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Nothing beats a summer afternoon drinking cocktails or peroni at the sailing club in Taupo! Often we go for 1 and stay for several and enjoy a delicious pizza too. Live music is awesome and the facilities are always clean. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
