So, yes it is a coffee and cake shop but really it is a Japanese restaurant. I would have chosen sashimi but, Mike the chef/owner said that currently the fish wasn't really up to it. So we left the choice up to him! Wow... texture flavour and presentation absolutely bang on ..... sushi with a St Lucia twist. The atmosphere was mellow and the staff super friendly. Quiet spot for a mid-afternoon lunch. Friendly staff and owner. Warm atmosphere with simple yet beautiful visuals and peaceful background music. Some of us had bentos while the kids had noodles (udon). My bento came with udon, spring rolls, gyozas and the best of it all was undoubtedly the very tasty udon. The kids loved theirs too. They have a nice selection of desserts too but I couldn't try any as I was already full, the bento being generously portioned. Service Dine in Meal type Other Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I found this place by way of review from Google after searching for places to eat in VF. Happy I decided to visit! At first I was not very impressed that after receiving the menu no one came to attend to me after I had to go to the cashier to place my order. After that everything turned around for the good. I would 1000% recommend this place for the atmosphere, the unbelievable customer service, it’s incredible how welcoming the staff made every single person who walked in, super kind and thoughtful. I had the Cajun roll only because I thought this to be a very unique combination with sushi. Michael who was an absolute charmer was the best! He offered me a sake while I was waiting.
