I ordered a Chia Oatmeal Bowl and the bowl was not as advertised; No Chia in the chia bowl but I did receive almonds which is not included, fruit was not fresh, and now I am at work I don’t have time to go back… Food: 1

I went there to get an Acai Bowl at 6:56pm. There are 2 people on the counter. I walked to the cashier and order an Acai Bowl, and the guy told me it’s frozen and looked at me, so I asked him so you couldn’t do it cos it’s frozen? and he answered me that he couldn’t do it, knowing that this place closes at 9pm. Lazy people. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We did not actually eat here because the service was so bad. I went here with my dad and his fiance and 2 of my siblings and we stood there waiting to order for a good 10 minutes or so. The workers completely refused to even acknowledge that we were there and ignored us. We ended up leaving. And I forgot to mention that we were the only people in the establishment besides one other man who I believe said he had been waiting 30 minutes for his food and they would not give him a refund so he could leave. Service was atrocious, awful, repulsive, ect. I have never had a bad experience at a tropical Cafe until now Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

First time here and I had a very poorly blended Detox Island Green. It was a pick up order so there was no rush to make it. I got 1/4 of the way through before I threw it out. The chunks of ice, mango, and kale did not make tasty drink. For a little bit more $ I recommend The Main Squeeze in Mount Pleasant. I honestly think the staff needs to be trained on how to properly make a smoothie. Today was my 2nd attempt at ordering a mango magic smoothie at this location and both times the smoothie was watery with no taste at all. Only had a few sips before trashing it. Do better! Food: 1

Worst tropical smoothie ever! Waited 30 mins for a quesadilla, sandwich and 2 smoothies (in the drive-thru with NO car in the line). The guy, although he wasn’t rude, did not have any good customer service behavior. Never again Service Take out Price per person $20–30

Waited over 30 minutes in the drive through with one car in front of us. I ended up coming inside and there were only 2 people ahead of me and 3 workers. I’ve waited over 45 minutes for ONE SMOOTHIE! 2nd attempt at this location and honestly dissatisfied and won’t order from here again. 1st attempt, food couldn’t be made cause of oven being broken. 2nd attempt, a watery smoothie. It was remade and still not up to par as any other location. Food: 1 Service: 1

Yikes. Drive the extra few miles for another location. Health inspector was there saying the cooler was at 45 degrees, the coconut was too old, sanitizing water wasn’t changed, TO NAME A FEW. So many things wrong with this location starting with the complete disrespect of the team. We waited 20 minutes to order as they were talking about the customers in the drive through-when we finally got to order they were rude and didn’t give me a receipt or anything. When we got our order, they washed off the cups because they were sloppy, and the top of our smoothie was filled with water, and was disgusting. When we asked for a new one, they did it and said it wasn’t water, and slammed their blender in the sink. Don’t waste your time here, plus even the health inspector looked nervous. I visit the west Ashley location a couple times a week, I’ve come to the center point location 2x now, both times I’ve been the only customer in the store. I always get the same smoothie and since I drink it so much I know what it looks and tastes like. First time my smoothie had banana in it and I told them and they told me it didn’t but I hate bananas with a passion and there definitely was. This time there was no banana in it but they also didn’t put the whey protein in it that I paid for. It’s dark purple and I knew right away, I asked and she said it did. Buffalo chicken wrap on both trips was sloppy. Do better or don’t do it at all. I was stoked when this location opened bc it’s a couple minutes from my house and I wanted to give them the benefit of human error but 2/2 and you’re out for me.
