Fist time today at the recently opened Trail Kitchen at the Waipa Mill Car Park at the Redwoods. Initially, I was a bit concerned when arriving after a ride to the cabinets completely devoid of food. But ordered from the menu, and not only did the food arrive quickly, but I was blown away by the quality. The smashed avo was amazing, covered in seasonal flowers and a to die for sauce around the plate. Daughter had the four cheese pizza, which even appealed to my adult palette. Prices aren't cheap, but well worth it. Overall amazing, and I'll be back!

Had a very friendly welcome from the woman behind the counter this morning! Enjoyed the very clean space in this cafe, as well as excellent coffee and sausage rolls. Will be back when we're cycling in the Redwoods next!

I love it here! The smashed avo is my all time favorite. I'm from Taranaki and I look forward to a meal at the Trail Kitchen every time I visit Rotorua. Great coffee, the perfect place to get your caffeine hit before hitting the Whakarewarewa forest for a ride! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
