The sushi cheez burger is so so good. Highly recommend. Definitely my favourite bar in Addis, and I’ve been to plenty. Also good place to go if you need a blessing in Russian or a quick lesson on meanders. 10/10

Met the love of my life in this bar whilst gobbling the best cheez burger I’ve tasted in my 28 years of life. Tall, dark and handsome - and that was just my pint of coke! Highly recommend to anyone looking to fall deeply in love with not only Ethiopia but also a geography teacher. (Call me) x

Simply outstanding. Brace yourself. The best place for normal and cheez burgers. The art work on the walls is on another level. A mix of contemporary and traditional. Service is second to none and you won’t meet a more avant guarde clientele. Ask for their special sushi.

Top Bar is truly a unique bar in Addis Ababa. A real authentic Ethiopian bar with an electric atmosphere that encompasses the best of the new and the old. It's not uncommon to meet a mix of people from Ethiopia, Nigeria, Turkey, USA, Spain, France, Australia and the UK taking advantage of the finest Ethiopian hospitality on offer at Top Bar.

What's not to like? Superb service and cheap cold beer. You are sure to meet a range of interesting people in this first class bar. The best place to start your evening in Addis.

Why is it called top bar? Because it is top! Next to Sanford school, a nice mix of local and international customers. The staff is nice and local. For me every night is an adventure. Prices very fair

Only place in Addis where you can get proper seafood, Malindi style , prawns and all.Filet mignon a la mode poitevine was a bit overcooked but you can't have it all in this town. 5 stars.

Such friendly staff and such a warm and welcoming environment. I met a great Geography teacher in there that was very friendly on the eyes

Excellent service and comraderie at this both local and expat bar. Barmaid Khalki is simply the best. The drinks are cheap and the service is excellent. Food available also (spag bol, Tibs, shiro generally).

This really is a top bar! Great food, beer and atmosphere. The place to be seen if you're a young professional in Addis.
