This place is worth the trip! Absolutely fabulous food. Some of the best food I have ever had!! My only regret is not going sooner in my trip to Mayto so I could try more things from their menu. Drinks are also fantastic! The owners are great people. Side note Hugo, one of the owners, took beautiful professional photos for my fiancé and I! What a delicious, unique experience! We were 7 people for lunch yesterday and everyone loved their food. We loved the freshness and the creativity. Delicious! Breakfast is amazing. Good coffee. Lunch is always great. And dinner always phenomenal. Young couple putting out some great plates. The best food for miles. We spent 2 months in the nearby village of Villa del Mar and have been to quite a few places for breakfast or dinner. Tokipa was by far our favourite. Their ceviche, guacamole, deserts and piñas are fabulous, in fact, everything on the menu is worth trying. We made a point of eating here once a week. They are only open on the weekends. The owners have built this place from the ground up and are adding a coffee bar. Lovely people and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back next year. We had several fantastic meals here - the first day a salad with fruits and grilled shrimps Al Diablo, spectacular quesadillas and tacos, really good passion fruit margarita and dirty chai latte 🤗💚 Come back here the next morning for breakfast 😋 Super sweet hosts in a chill environment, minutes from the beach, nicely shaded in a self-built structure and a kitchen based partially in a food truck - you can feel the love that went into building this fabulous place. 💖
