Great atmosphere, welcoming but not meddling staffs, good American authentic foods (I mean, what they served was real food, not peculiar modern foods), and good beer, we really enjoyed the evening at Redmond. Tipsy Cow in Redmond has great staff and seating. I heard they had a spicy burger and I wanted to experience the heat! At a glance, the name of the burger is The Arsonist! The description dares you to try it. The top of the bun has a roasted habanero pepper. Just one! Let me tell you, its good! If you are looking for a spicy burger look no more. Unless of course, you are the one who gets that habanero that lacks the legendary kick! Inside, the fixings with roasted peppers and pepper jack cheese completes the juicy burger! Very happy with this experience. Now, the fries. Love the flavor but i was not excited about them. Fries are not golden crisp. I mentioned to my wife that the fries felt like the Parmesan cheese was tossed on top. They were a bit colder than the average fry making the experience a bit dry, pasty and chewy. Hot Fries next time! There is nothing worse than a mid hot to cold fry! Would have been a 5 on food but i am sure my next time will be better! I will make it a point to share the feedback to our server. My recommendation is to shake them up a bit with the cheese. Ensure they are hot and golden crispy upon serving. I paired this burger with a Belgian white beer. Only available at this location by the way. I have tried the Hef they serve as well but the Belgian white blonde is my go to now! The service is top notch and the ambience is nice! Kid friendly booths and plenty of bar area if you like watching the game while you enjoy a beer! Had lunch here after a long bike ride. The quality of the burger was definitely above average but nothing surprising. We ordered 2 burgers with truffle fries and fries with cheese, both were solid, especially the truffle ones! The service was nice and attentive, as well as the atmosphere. We've enjoyed how amazing the variety of burgers are, including very kid friendly options. Splurge for the truffle fries! Bring an appetite for a great meal! Updated 20oct2023: still awesome! Good place for burgers. We sat in the bar area and the service was excellent!!! Passed by the Managers a few times and they couldn’t care or took a moment to smile or greet us. Don’t like the fact they nickel and dime customers for everything. You want dipping sauce, extra charge. Difference fries, extra charge. Substitute any item, extra charge. They have about 50 beers to choose from but we weren’t told about any of them. Wife states that She might return because the burger was actually very good, messy but very good!!! To summarize; inoffensive but bland. Signature items look tasty, but underwhelm in taste. Service is excellent, kitchen super slow. Food - Tipsy burger: dry, bland, barely (if at all) seasoned patty. Tipsy sauce mediocre and thin/runny. Bun tasteless. Onions most flavorful component by far. Competently presented. Food - Truffle fries; closer to "normal fries with drips of truffle sauce and sprinkle of parm." Taste didn't match strong fragrance. Not worth the upgrade. Service was excellent and attentive, super apologetic for the very slow kitchen (30+ mins for a burger when less than 1/4 full). Atmosphere is typical modern pub style; sterile and boring. Angular/hard chairs and booths, though the high top chairs have front foot rests which is good. Loud/echo-y as hell without a ton of people inside. If you are with friends/family that can only eat burgers, or don't like strong flavor, then it's serviceable. Otherwise, skip. The spiked strawberry lemonade was really good. The beast mode burger had a good amount of bleu cheese and the pepper relish was a good compliment. The arsonist was 🔥 perfect- good balance of spicy and flavor! The fries are perfection, no matter how you order them. The fried pickles were a hit too! Not to mention the wonderful service!
