Adorable tiki bar! The drinks were great. The bartender was a character and so friendly. The decor is perfect. Food from upstairs is super tasty. I really enjoyed this place! Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Bartender is real slow. Seems like his first gig considering it took 45min to get our first drink with only 15 people in the bar. The "decor" is a cross between the dollar store and a Mexican street vendor. Pretty good place to sober up. Price per person $30–50 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I don't come to bars often. This place may be changing that. We were part of a large group. Tons of orders for drinks and goods being placed. The staff was very professional and fast. I'm not sure how they got everything right. The fried Rice with shrimp eggs and corn was delicious. Too many places over cook fried rice. Not an issue here. Run of the mill beers like Corona , Stella and Heineken are quite affordable as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Definitely call ahead to make sure they’re open. Their website says they open at 4, we went there just after 5 and they were still closed. A lady in the resturant upstairs said she “thought they opened around 6.” The next day we went there around 10:30, and they were closed for a private event. We were pretty disappointed since we’re visiting from out of town and love tiki bars - we make a point of visiting them in any new city we visit - and we had Ubered pretty far out of our way to go there. They should really do a better job of updating their website. I’m sure it could be a fun place that I would have recommended to all my friends and colleagues who visit DC, but I guess I’ll never know.
When I tell you this place was a hole in the wall, our Uber driving couldn’t even find it. This is a small, cute bar UNDER the Vietnamese restaurant 1914. Drinks were good. Most of the bartenders were nice. Came here for a birthday last night. This place is very tiny I don’t even know if they have 20 seats. They share a kitchen with the restaurant. Food was delicious! Definitely coming back to try the full menu. I recommend Uber, parking is horrible here. I would come back again for a drink!

Let me tell you one of my favorite nights in DC was spent at this tiny independently owned bar! Ian the bartender and owner is truly talented and one of a kind! Not only is the decor and ambience on point with a fun Vespa in the middle, the drinks were the best drinks I had during our trip. I got the Planters Passion such a fun drink that gets lit on fire and strong too. The playlist that night was everything! My friends and I sang and danced all night even when it was just the 3 of us and Ian. Ian my guy! Thank you for making our friend’s birthday weekend a great one with your hospitality and all the shots you kept giving her haha! Until next time new friend. Cheers!

Ambience is very peaceful. Cocktails are complex yet simple. You can taste each note of every ingredient. I did not get a chance to try the food, but the menu leaves me excited to experiment on my next visit. Bartenders and staff are very friendly and bathrooms are clean. There is a full menu and food market for the 2md floor. Definitely stop by as you start to venture out while restrictions are lifting

Great experience on a Saturday night. Awesome bartender. Tried the "Planters Passion" drink. It was lit. Also enjoyed the "Rum + Coconut". It was good and strong. Ask for a spoon if you really like coconut.
Went there for a private party and loved Dan and Debra are awesome Must try drinks : 1 tiki torch 2 hawai blue drink 3 banana hammer Definitely coming back ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Very cute little bar that lies below a Vietnamese restaurant. We were the first ones there right at open/start of happy hour on a Friday night. The happy hour deals aren’t that great (beer & wine?) so we only had 1 drink before moving elsewhere. We ordered an app or two from the restaurant upstairs. Cute spot for a tiki drink but not somewhere to stay all night for the drink prices.
