I've worked with Tinker's for many years for both personal events and events for clients (I am an event planner). I cannot recommend Cameron enough. The cakes and desserts are stunning, the prices very fair and the taste - SHEW! I recently got married and used Tinker's for the wedding cake and am still dreaming about the design and those flavors. I use Tinker's for birthdays, corporate desserts, weddings and more. Give him a call - you won't regret it!

Couldn't recommend Tinker's more! Cameron was great to work with and the cake was both amazingly and delicious. He also was able to add on cupcakes and a groom's cake that turned out incredible! We had so many people (vendors included) tell us it was the best wedding cake they had ever had and we definitely agree!

Tinker's designed and made our wedding cake for our wedding day this past December 30, 2017 and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Cameron and Tinker's Cake Shop. Our cake was flawless! We received so many compliments about the design and don't even get me started on the flavor of cake and the buttercream frosting! It was absolutely delicious and our guests raved about the flavors. We selected dark chocolate champagne, vanilla bean, red velvet, lemon with cream cheese, and strawberries and cream! YUM! Cameron was consistently professional and very thorough/timely with all of his communication. Our tasting was enjoyable and when we sent him a picture of the type of design we wanted, he completely blew our expectations out of the water. The cake was delivered with plenty of time to spare on our wedding day and the fresh flowers and cake topper that were left to go on the cake were placed perfectly. In addition to a perfect wedding cake, Cameron also made 4 additional gluten-free cupcakes to meet the dietary needs of two our guests. He was so gracious about doing this and both guests raved about the fact that they were actually able to have delicious wedding cake with everyone else! Tinker's is a wonderful cake shop! I can't wait to get our one-year anniversary cake this year!

Cameron was wonderful to work with and all four flavors of our cake tasted amazing! He was gracious with us when we needed to reschedule due to COVID and patient with my changing ideas for the design of the cake. Cameron was also able to accomodate our family's allergies to ensure everyone would be able to enjoy the cake. He did a great job! Highly recommend!

We had Tinkers do our wedding cake and it turned out just like we wanted! He placed all the fresh flowers on the cake and it was exactly what we wanted. We did white chocolate raspberry and it was soooo good! We ate it for days after. So glad we went with Tinkers!

I got married on August 13th, 2022. We had Tinkers make our cake. This cake was the most beautiful wedding cake I’d ever seen before. They understood the assignment when it came to what I wanted. Every detail was perfect. My cake tasting/choosing flavors was the best experience ever as well! It’s been 2 months and I am still getting compliments on that cake. The cake was so good my husband and I didn’t even get a piece other than the piece we fed each other during the initial cutting. Tinkers was worth every penny and I would definitely use them again for any and all occasions. Thank you Tinkers for adding to my beautiful wedding day with the beautiful cake you provided, We appreciate you so much! Sorry for the late review.

Tinker's Cake Shop always delivers with beautiful and tasty cakes! As a wedding venue, we taste a lot of cake and Tinker's is one of our absolute favorites. You don't ever have to worry about the cake being late or falling apart. I would give Tinker's more than 5-stars if I could!

I used to think most wedding cakes tasted the same, until we went to our wedding cake tasting at Tinker's. Every flavor was absolutely delicious and it made for a very tough decision! Cameron was a pleasure to work with since we first contacted him about our wedding, and he even accommodated us once we had to move our venue from Lexington to Cincinnati. Our guests have all raved about how delicious our cake was, and even asked if there were any leftovers to take home. I am so happy we had Tinker's do our wedding cake and can't thank Cameron enough!

Absolutely the BEST in the area. We love details and a geode cake can go easily wrong with the wrong person. Tinkers is to our knowledge the only place to take on cakes of this level with confidence, and we did very extensive research on who we wanted. We were even able to match paint swatches to have custom coloring on the entire cake, not to mention being able to customize flavors from a phenomenal selection. Tinkers is very willing to work with your vision going above and beyond as well as being considerate about your price point. To us they were the best priced for the level cake we wanted. We were THRILLED to see the outcome of our wedding cake! We custom designed it to display our love for nature, our native heritage, and capturing the flow of water inspired by my passed mother’s favorite hymn: It Is Well With My Soul.

Tinker’s did a phenomenal job on our wedding cake. It was gorgeous and delicious - we got three different flavors for ours which was cool. The tasting was super fun to decide. Our only regret was not getting to eat as much of it as we wanted that night - which makes us look forward to our one year anniversary remake!
