A superb bar in Ipoh, SSS Rank crafted drinks, awesome service and quite a chill atmosphere, just the music is tad too loud for my liking, the rest is fantastic. If anyone from KL and wanted to visit a bar in Ipoh that's similar to Reka, Tiga is the place to be!

Very hip speakeasy hidden in old town Ipoh! The drinks were outstanding, and the whole menu is really innovative. Fun vibes, great music played at just the right volume, and impeccable service! Pricier drinks, but well worth it!

Such a cool speakeasy in a hidden alley in Ipoh. We were keen on having a night out in the city during our visit here and our first stop was Tiga.
There are a few dilapidated buildings and you will find the door to this cool bar beside a couple of unmarked washrooms.
There are two seating areas - one immediately when you enter into the bar and one further inside. Even though we sat on the inside section, we recommend sitting in the outside one as there was gentle Chinese music playing along with a lighter ambience as compared to the remixed American music playing in the inside section.
Service is professional and polite. We ordered the following cocktails :
1) Old School Love - We chose this because the main ingredient is beancurd whiskey. I've tasted these separately and never thought these can be combined. This is a nice cocktail with infusions of gingko pandan, soy milk etc. (dessert items I have had separately but never in a cocktail) - very smooth and served with a garnish of barley jelly. Loved the presentation too!
2) Strange Affairs - Another cool cocktail that we opted for and comes with a garnish of pickled shitake mushroom. We were told to consume the mushroom quicker to avoid it from getting dry and chewy. This cocktail was less sweeter and slightly on the savoury side. Came with hints of blueberry and parmesan cheese. Weird combination, but worked well.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a speakeasy experience in Ipoh.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tiga, a fantastic speakeasy bar tucked away in the Old Town of Ipoh. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the intimate atmosphere and the carefully crafted cocktails.
What truly set Tiga apart was the exceptional service provided by the talented Bartendress, Abby. Her professionalism and bartending skills were truly top-notch. Abby not only demonstrated an impressive knowledge of mixology but also had a keen sense of understanding her customers' preferences. She effortlessly recommended drinks that perfectly suited my taste, making the evening truly memorable.
If you're looking for a unique and delightful speakeasy experience, Tiga is the place to be. A big shoutout to Abby for making my visit extraordinary. I'll definitely be returning to savor more of her expertly crafted cocktails!

The place is not on the main road, so you need to get into a smaller narrow road. You can’t miss is if you follow the unit numbers.
The back ground music and the decor reminds me of piano bar, which makes it a unique experience of its own.
To anyone that like Negroni, I strongly recommend “the writer”, which is their own twist with coconut infusion and served in a coconut shell with frozen stone to keep the drink chilled but not diluted. The basil vermouth is very subtle at the beginning of the taste embracing the coconut taste.
The Last Drink On The Coach has a real kick of seaweed, and it feels you are drinking sea water. The garnish help to tone down the kick, but once finished and the drink warms up, it becomes a bit hard to drink.
Lulus Room was my partner drink, and suitable for anyone that likes fruity cocktails.

First visit to Ipoh, visited Tiga Bar and had the honor of sitting at the table top. Our hosts of the night were JD & Abby were the highlight of experience tonight.
Abby & JD took the time and effort to ensure that every guest were able to enjoy their night and to understand the cocktails that they present.
Highly recommended to visit; and if possible soak in the experience from their team.
Do ask them for their signature or recommendations and the team will point in right direction.
Again kudos to the team for the wonderful night!
Nice environment, good music and special cocktails provided here base on movie 花样年华 as per introduce by the bartender. The bartenders are so passion to communicate with us, thank you.
