I book a table at the Regent quite frequently as they are guaranteed to serve good wine, excellent cocktails and wonderful food. Whether I am meeting a friend for tapas and a chat, or booking for a special birthday treat, the regent never disappoints. The wine list is excellent and they make great cocktails but the thing I like best about the Regent is the service. Staff are impeccable but are also warm and friendly, everyone is made to feel welcome. The chef prepares food that is thoughtful, exciting and well crafted. My guests always appreciate their evening at the Regent and I look forward to every time I go there. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The location of the hotel is very good. Eat Street is 50 meters away. It is convenient for eating and drinking and there is a bar. Across this street is the lakeside. It is almost the best location. Ctrip's price is much cheaper than booking. The two-bedroom room is large and exquisite. The only thing you need to pay attention to is that there are no stairs on the second floor, so you need to move boxes.
What an absolutely delicious Christmas Dinner for our team. Three luxurious courses, topped off with the most delicious, perfect Christmas mince tarts I have ever had. My favourite course was the chicken liver parfait - light, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The room is nice, the hotel's appearance is well designed in every aspect, and there is a small private hot spring. There are fewer parking spaces and the layout is relatively compact, but it is located in the city center and you can park outside at night.
The room is spacious, clean and comfortable to live in. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and she took the initiative to tell us that the hotel provides free natural hot spring pools. The location of the hotel is good, next to the food street, not far from the supermarket. It can be said that this price is definitely worth the price of accommodation in Rotorua.
Rotorua is really a beautiful town, and this hotel is also quite good. It is a suite and there is a massage bed in the living room😄The hotel service is average and parking is free. The only drawback is that there is no elevator. It is too tiring to carry four suitcases upstairs.
I had the plant based degustation and hubby had the meat version, great service, impeccable food and enjoyed every single couse. Second time there and will be back for the new menu. So nice to have the option of a vegan degustation! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
I stayed for one night during my trip to Rotorua. The hotel had free parking, but there was no space when I arrived. Fortunately, roadside parking spaces were available for free from 9pm to 10am the next morning.
Second time here. Food was better than the first. But service from the duty manager was terrible. She was a waitress last time we came here and how she got promoted is beyond us. Lack of people skills, poor handling of situations, she is far from what you would like to receive service from at a "5 star" restaurant and hotel. The young girl working there was lovely and warm. Wish her all the best. The food was tasty, didn't lack seasoning like last time. But average. Second and last time for us. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
There are many mosquitoes, there is no elevator on the second floor, and the room was not cleaned on the last day. Not recommended.
