Quick efficient service and beautiful food. The 8hr braised beef was rich and cooked well. Bbq pork ribs were delicious and falling off the bone. The roasted Salmon had crispy skin and just cooked perfectly. Pay to call in advance and check availability and opening hours. Well worth the trip. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Stopover on the way to our destination. We got really warm and friendly responses to our queries and ended up ordering 2 plates to share. The service was excellent and pleasantly surprise that the food was great. The coffee was super nice - flavoursome and tasty with smooth coffee texture.

Amazingly friendly staff and the food is to die for! For a small town I was totally blown away at the standard of the meals on offer!! I had the Benny's with pork belly which was delicious!! The eggs perfectly cooked, pork was amazingly tender and the asparagus provided some great texture and flavour! The Public House needs to find it's way to Auckland Central.. Stopped here when passing through ngatea. Smoked salmon and pork belly eggs bene both delicious. Salmon was very nice. Nutella pancakes yum, very sweet after a couple bites. Ambiance was lovely 👍 The service was pleasant ☺️ Persian dusted lamb rack with kibbeh, blistered tomatoes, tahini, pomegranate jus - included parsnips and leek 🤩🤩 Slow Cooked Beef Brisket with Mushroom in a Creamy sauce - had no mention of Pasta and way too much oil 😔 Old bay poached prawns with avocado baby Cos lettuce with Mary-Rose dressing - and spicy 😬🤑 We shared two deserts. They were super sweet and rich and should have only got one to share. Would suggest half the price and half the size. I will come back again, has potential for a higher rating…
