We stopped for the first time after passing by for years. This place is the bomb. They have daily specials of home cooked meals. Today was chicken and dumplings and by the time I ordered one to go it was all gone and only 12:30. Then we thought we order a cinnamon roll and wow it was finger by licking good. It's a good spot for breakfast, but there was nothing outstanding either. The food was cooked well and the staff was great. Unattentive. Barely cordial. Food was ok. If you have a service based business and you want customers to return, give good service, be attentive and aware. Tables are fixed in place with fixed benches that are uncomfortable and a tight fit. It seems like squish as many in a tiny space as you can and forget comfort. We was very unsatisfied about the service and the food. I ordered the scrambled eggs with vegetables. The eggs was brown, the vegetables was cold and the cheese was just sprinkled on top. It was only one egg. It took a while to get seated and then when it was time to pay there was no one to be found. I will not be going back.

Very cute small family restaurant feel. We went for Saturday brunch, were seated within 10 minutes. Got the southwest omelet with a pancake w/ blueberries. It was great! This place's food is sooooooo good, I wana lick me plate clean! There is a secret menu item..."coffee-milk", I know, it sounds weird, but trust me, it is good, milk, coffee, and sugar, good recipe, I drink about 2 cups of it on Saturday and Sunday mornings with my dad. I like this place. It was nice country cooking to a tee. We were sat promptly, drink order taken, given time to look at the menu. Exactly what I wanted. Our food order was correct for the most part(forgot bananas on my ladies pancakes) but other than that, service was pleasurable. Joseph is a good server and I can't remember the nice woman who kept my coffee filled. I went their for breakfast but the daily special seemed to be very popular(beef tips with rice and cornbread. On that note, ask the daily specials sounded great and comforting. Not going to lie though, the men's restroom could use some work. Gnats kept flying into me. I'm not in tomball much, but I'd go back definitely

Stopped in for breakfast. Personable little place. Everyone is so friendly. I don't know if customers were regulars or not cause they don't seem to know a stranger I ordered a Nook taco, and it was big and taste good. I don't frequent Tomball very much but I will come back when I'm in town. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
