I have preordered Christmas Donuts Box from The Curious Baker. The donuts look exactly like the ads. Variety of flavours. Unique. For people that love matcha, can have a try the Matcha donut. Service Delivery Meal type Other Price per person RM 40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

By accident we found this authentic rustic cafe as we were walking to our hotel, we bought a kombucha oolong tea, cold brew matcha, a couple of freshly baked tarts. We were truly surprised by the taste’s deliciousness and freshness of the drinks - been a while that we’ve tasted truly artisan drinks from a humble rustic but extraordinary experts in such a remote area in Jonker area! Trust our unprofessional review, you wont be dissatisfied thus walking out with a full smile and eager to come again 💕

Tried their weekend donut "Strawberry balsamic". RM4.50 for one. It was very nice, so we went to the cafe beside it the next day which I believed they supplied the pastry. The croissant was dope too. Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Price per person RM 1–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The best thing in life is to enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee and pastries in a cozy and petite cafe. Yes! I am referring to The Curious Bakers The small cafe serves scrumptious pastries that you will be seduced by the baking aromatic Do drop by if you are in Melaka. Located behind a small lane of Gallery 1825 Hotel. Be patient cos is pretty crowded, especially on Friday, Sat and Sunday But is an inconvenience for those with a wheelchair.

Would have given full 5 stars if not for the cake. Maybe just not to our liking, but the Earl Grey Strawberry seems really lack of Strawberry taste, and the Earl grey is really light. Maybe their other cakes will fare better, but I'll say skip this flavour. Jalapeño Bagel with their unique sour cream sauce is good, the cream tasted different than others I tried, a tinge of spiciness which is so good. Goes really well with the Bagel. Drinks are quite pricey, but expect tourist price for this area, all in all a good place to spend the afternoon if you don't mind the steep stairs. Quaint and quiet upstairs. Just brings you back to old melaka. Used to be Sin See Tai but they changed the name to The Curious Bakers. No seats downstairs but plenty upstairs. Donut taste average. The place is small but has aesthetic value. But the croissant is good, came at 3 pm, only 2 flavours left

So we were next door at the Sin See Tat coffee (good place) and saw this sign for donuts. Had to try and they are sister companies and we can buy the donuts and eat next door. Nine different varieties and we tried six. I'm quite fond of donuts but the western style cake donuts and the fluffy Canadian type. So these are probably more like Japanese style. Soft and chewy but not really our style. Cream is delicate and taste is there which is why it reminds me of Japanese patisserie. See pictures. The blubbery filling was good I thought but my wife didn't like it. The sea salt chocolate was neither here or there. Gula melaka not definitive enough. Overall not worth it. We won't be coming back.

We discovered this little bakery in the alley next to our hotel we stayed at. And so glad that we did! Highly recommend, they have delicious baked goods. The Daily Fix Cafe is their sister cafe, and this bakery is only open on the weekends. Their donuts are ornately decorated with fun flavors like strawberry balsamic and passion basil. We also ordered creme puffs and walnut raisin soughdough.

Stumbled upon this shop on my way to buy satay nearby. Decide to try lime meringue and pistachio ferrero. The lime is filled with lime filling, its so sour and sweet, worth a try. The other one is kinda normal.
