The coffee and soup were fantastic! My companion said that the eggs were a great texture but lacked in taste. Nice place with average food. Turkish eggs were underwhelming, hidden under some greens was minimal labneh and tiny eggs - not worth $18 to get filled up on some bread. Burger was well made and tasted good, chips were yum but that’s hard to mess up. Service was meh but the interior is spacious and comfortable. went here for breakfast and had the rice pudding and whitakers hot chocolate, hands down the best hot chocolate i’ve ever had and the breakfast was so delicious and wholesome. The atmosphere of the cafe was peaceful despite it being full, service was friendly and quick. Travelling in New Zealand. Reached Dunedin from Te Anau, Milford Sound. The Corner Store has cosy cafe vibes though in city centre, so gave it a try. We enjoyed the food (soup, main course), had pumpkin soup with chilli, lemongrass and potato rosti beef brisket pickled cabbage poached egg. Ended with two types of dessert. Food was ok very small proportions for the price, Barista was VERY unfriendly and staff in general wasn’t giving good vibes. The avo toast is very small and the French toast was okayish. We add bacon to the French toast and it tasted very weird. Coffe was mediocre and did not taste very good.

Vege breakfast was absolutely delightful! Those falafel balls were so good! Dukkah eggs weren't overpowered with spice and then cauliflower ganoush, along with the delish toasted bread .. just yum! Absolutely delicious. Many gluten free options, I went with the grain salad that the barista recommended and it was absolutely delicious. Coffee is from a local roaster. It would for sure be a regular spot if I lived close! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast

Got the scrambled egg on toast Eggs were pretty good so was the sourdough bread but due to the eggs being left on the toast it got quite soggy and chewy Felt like eating a bunch on mush topped with salt and pepper. Service was standard nothing special. Coffee was mid. Got a double espresso and it was quite sour with no bitterness or actual espresso flavour. Their coffee machine either needs a heavy clean or to adjust the grind amount/grind fineness to get the proper espresso taste. Brownie was delicious!
