Cake Artist Studio recently made our wedding cake, and it was absolutely incredible! They are so easy to work with, understand your vision, and the cakes are as delicious as they are beautiful. Everyone loved the cake - especially the brown sugar oatmeal cake with brown sugar coconut filling!
This was most definitely worth the stop. The lady is so friendly and knowledgeable . And the chocolate chip cookies are to die for. She has been making them since she was 12 years old, and her secret recipe is the best!
The cupcakes are fantastic, the raspberry butter cream frosting taste delicious!
And I can’t wait to taste this special carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and tiny bits of pineapple inside.

I ordered a cake last minute for my niece's out of town wedding. They took my order and catered it to my niece's preferences from me just describing the bride and groom over the phone. I was late picking up the cake and she even waited for us to pick it up after hours! Also the cake was gorgeous! But the best part is,. This was THE BEST tasting cake I've ever had in my life. And sooooo many of the wedding guests said the same thing! Thank you for making my niece's t cake AMAZING! We will be using this bakery again. ❤️👏👏
A friend gave me a few of the cupcakes from The Cake Artist's Studio! Those were the best cupcakes I have ever tasted in my life! So moist, and delicious!? The flavors were out of this world!!!!
I showed Ashlee a photo of the cake I wanted her to make for a baby shower, and what she created was perfection! This cake was amazing all the way around! Besides being beautifully decorated (I love how the bow matches the wheels on the carriage), it tasted delicious! Her cakes are always moist, and the frosting is so creamy - not too sweet. Just the way I like it! I highly recommend The Cake Artist's Studio! She uses quality ingredients. - Liz M.
May 2022. Just Finished a graduation party at University of Illinois for my computer science son. Ordered the graduation cake from the cake artist's studio 2 weeks ahead of time Over the phone-- with the cake artist's mom. Honestly, I was a little worried about doing it this way, as I had nothing in writing. (I'm used to doing everything in writing.) The ordering was very simple, I just explained to her what I needed, I think the hardest part was that I told her I wanted it to be super fantastic and fabulous!!!!!!!! (She said it would be.) Site unseen, I had no idea what the cake would look like, but she promised me that it would be spectacular for my graduate. I arrived at the cake artist studio early, and she confirmed that I had promised her I would pick it up later at 3 PM and I would need to come back---- because it was just not quite ready. That's OK with me! Because I wanted to be fresh fresh fresh fresh! We came back, brought the cake to the party and it was "over the top spectacular!!!!!" You can see in the photo that I didn't even get a picture of it before they were chopping into it! Super moist, fantastically colorful, Tremendously detailed! Terrifically on point with the computer science degree! OMG I could not have been happier! I would highly recommend the cake artist's studio.
My husband and I could not have asked for better service or a better and prettier cake! Ashlee made sure we had such a fun experience designing and deciding on the specific cake flavors for our wedding. The sample box that we brought home to try cake and creams was delightful! We have a fantastic evening sampling and mixing flavors to come up with the perfect combination. It was a difficult decision because the were all so good. We decided on 3 layers with different flavors; a pink campaign cake with strawberry and a raspberry cream filling, chocolate cake with mocha cream and fudge cream, and of course the white cake with the buttercream filling. We still had another favorite so I surprised my husband with a red velvet cake with brown sugar coconut cream and fudge cream. The combinations were exquisite. The customer service was incredible Ashlee designed our cakes and they turned out more beautiful that we could have imagined! Thank you Ashlee for being such a fantastic part of our wedding!
My mother and I have been going to the Cake Artist for years because the flavor of the cakes is unmatched. The cakes that I have ordered from here have been some of the best cakes I've had. In fact, we love the cakes here so much that we even brought one to Kentucky for my grandpa's birthday. However, the last few times that we have ordered cakes from here we have been disappointed with the presentation. One request for a cake with vibrant colors gave me a cake with a color palette of three different pastels. Last year, one of the cakes I ordered was a baby pink birthday cake. I received a white cake with the slightest trace of pink writing. And that was it. No other colors or decorations. Bare minimum and not even the color I wanted. This year, I was hesitant to order my birthday cake from here because although the cakes are delicious, I feel that I am never satisfied with the presentation because they are not decorated the way that I request. I'm absolutely not the type to limit artistic integrity by telling someone exactly how to decorate a cake, but I would expect bare minimum of the colors being on par with what I want. The last time I ordered a cake from here, I told the woman I wanted neon pink, knowing she never got the colors right and that I would end up with the baby pink that I wanted. This was exactly the case. I was still disappointed with the decorations however, because the rest of the cake was white except for a few sugar flowers. That's another thing- for a business titled "Cake Artist" you're using sugar flowers? Not real icing? I ended up not even finishing the last cake I bought. I could not find an email on the website to express my critiques, only a phone number. As someone who has been a loyal customer to the Cake Artist for many years, I am disappointed to say I can not see myself continuing to support this business because they do not fulfil my bare minimum requests and simply do not live up to the name "Cake Artist".
I ordered a cake for my brother and they absolutely nailed it!!! It was also delicious! I would highly recommend this place if you need any sort of cake!
