Had a medium rare steak and it was cooked to perfection. My wife had the hot ham and cheese sandwich and said it was very good.Would highly recommend. Was staying in Cooke City for Yellowstone visit. Off the beaten path but very good.

This is such a cute and charming classic Cooke City institution. It’s a great place to go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and you’re always sure to have a great meal and enjoy a delightful atmosphere and breathtaking views. During the summer breakfast is served from 8:00am until 11:00pm, lunch from 11:00am to 5:00pm, and dinner from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. On a nice day you can sit outside and if the weather is not cooperating you can always enjoy the great indoors. Highly recommended.

Club Sandwich
Very cool little place, we made it just in time. They were due to close for the season three days after we got there. They made me a great club sandwich. My buddy wanted a grilled cheese with turkey. They were out of Turkey but we happened to have some in the cooler in the truck so they used the turkey from our cooler. That was amazing service. I'll definitely visit again when I make it back to the area.

Well, to be honest we pulled over here because we saw a sign for free Wi-Fi and then decided to grab a bite. We weee in the last 1/2 hour of breakfast and ordered a veggie and ham omelette. Both were so delicious. Sides of bacon cooked perfectly. Hash browns perfect! Chocolate milk hit the spot! Although I’m not sure when I’d be able to visit again I highly recommend you give it a try! Service was very attentive and friendly. Thank you!!

I had a bacon hamburger, which was great, husband had the mushroom and Swiss burger. We had a shrimp cocktail for appetizer, which was delicious. We sat outside in July and it was glorious.

Took a day trip to Cooke City from Cody because Yellowstone was shut down during our stay. Stopped at Bistro because it had outdoor seating and it was a beautiful day. The service was great and the food was AMAZING. Our group got burgers and a chicken sandwich, all of it tasty. The burgers were obviously hand pattied, grilled and seasoned to perfection, and so moist and tender. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned as well. We finished with chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, and cheesecake. All were tasty, the chocolate cake was rich, but the cheesecake was superior! We also got to chat with the owner, who was very nice. We aren’t local by a long shot, but we will definitely come by the Bistro on our next trip!
My family and I stumbled on this restaurant after leaving Yellowstone a bit later than expected. The food was wonderful and we really enjoyed our time. I even found tasty escargot on the menu! Highly recommend.

Mushroom Swiss Burger
We came here twice during our stay in Cooke City. The first time we had lunch. I had the club with fries. The fries were delicious. Had a side of ranch, it tasted homemade, yum! The second visit we had breakfast. I wasn't as impressed. Our hashbrowns were very salty. We found the ketchup packets inconvenient, would have preferred a bottle. We found the prices high, but understandable given the remote location....except for the soda. $3.50 is decent for fountain drinks but is too much for a can with no refills. Our waitresses were great.
