Always love the food here. Service was great as usual. Rolls with cinnamon butter is sooooo good! We had the blooming onion for an app. I also had a cup of chili. Delicious! Filled with bits of tender steak. I selected the 20 oz. Rib eye steak when I entered. I then ordered the steak smothered in mushrooms! Awesome! The steak was cooked perfectly to my selection of medium. I also ordered a baked potato with butter and sour cream. Baked perfectly!Unlimited fountain soda. Enjoy! ♡♡♡New Lunch Hours!! No lines, No wait!!! ♡♡♡ We started with the Cactus Blossom/ Blooming Onion ♡ which comes with a Cajun dipping sauce. This was just as awesome as expected! My dad and I both had the fried Catfish with mashed potatoes & Green beans. The green beans were amazing! Great southern seasoning. Reminded me of my years in Mississippi ♡ Mashed potatoes were excellent ♡ Catfish was lightly breaded with a southern seasoning...best I've had in years! Oohhh the meal starts off with their buns and a cinnamon butter ♡ Yum!! Lunch cost the 2 of us $46 which is the usual cost of a lunch out for us. We'd both eat here again! This is a great go to spot! Atmosphere is awesome and it’s always busy. It has a lot of food options. Only gripe is that most of the food is a little heavy, which is a personal thing. I went here with my family while on a vacation. I ordered an all american burger, well done, with a side of fries. When we received the food my burger was pink on the inside and I had barely any fries. We were excited to be eating here for the first time in years but the food wasn’t what we expected. So I would normally not even leave a rating for a large chain like this but we ate here and had noticed a few things worth mentioning so here we go. Normally on a trip here I would get a ribeye but it was lunchtime so I decided to go with a burger. Four people at our table got burgers. Mine was to be medium rare, two medium, and a medium well. Mine was the closest to temp but was still a bit under, while all of the other 3 came out rare. I would normally overlook this but being a steakhouse and focusing on temps all day everyday, this is something you'd assume wouldn't happen here. The server left the few people with chicken tenders meals and the other with a ribs meal (as well as mine) their food while the other burgers were re-cooked. We now have 4 people eating from our party and 3 people not eating. If something like this were to happen again (which it shouldn't at a steakhouse) I would suggest leaving the other diners their sides at least so it wasn't such a major separation of people eating to people waiting for food. First I'd like to say the peanuts are back! Steak was cooked well but needs to be seasoned. We ordered the porterhouse but had a big chunk of muscle in it. Was so tough it couldn't be cut. Chose Texas Roadhouse for my birthday dinner this year. Sometimes your just in the mood for a great steak. Was a little surprised that there was a wait for a table for 5 on a Tuesday in October in the Pocono's, but then again I am sure it can be attributed to the popularity, location and quality food and service which we were able to attest to first hand. Its not Texas Roadhouse without those hot, moist tasty, buttered rolls and cinnamon butter. WOW! Always delicious. For appetizers we had the fried pickles and the blooming onion. Both were crispy and tasty. For dinner, I had the 23 oz T-Bone medium rare, baked loaded potato and broccoli my better half and friends wife had the 8 oz Sirloin and my friend and his son the steak & rib combo's. Since the plates were all empty at the end, I can say that everyone enjoyed their meal, I know mine was delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly, mouth watering and extremely tasty. The baked potato was hot and smothered in butter, sour cream and shredded cheese. MMM MMM MMM! The service was outstanding and the asst. manager stopped by to see if everything was all right and if we needed anything. Of course what birthday celebration isn't complete without me being embarrassed as they came over to sing there energetic happy birthday signature congratulations song/rant. They did bring the rolling saddle to get on but at my age, thats no longer an option. Thanks to Teas Roadhouse for an awesome meal and birthday celebration. Food is very good. Waiting staff is very poor. They seem to only care about you if you have a large party. I'm guessing because they think they'll get more tips and don't care about small parties. This has happened many times so it's not just a one off complaint. Which is a shame because the food is great and the environment is a good vibe. They sat us all the way in the back at the worst table in the establishment. We passed 2 better tables to be seated in the back. The floor was dirty, I asked the waitress to get someone to please sweep up the mess , she said yes and no one showed up. As an African American I know it was intentional.
