Holy Migas! Sorry you didn’t get a photo before it was mostly devoured, but oh my gosh this breakfast spot is amazing! Such friendly and engaging team members that I’m enjoying watching work as a cohesive unit. The food is incredible, my husband got the ham and it’s smoked to perfection. The special for today was pear stuffed French toast and a steak breakfast burrito. I would eat here all day if I could!

The ONLY reason this place got 4 stars is because of Dianna, the best server ever. She’s funny, engaging, and lights up the place. And Beva… I know with her in charge of dishes, everything is always clean!!
Now for the food. Ugh. It was the worst chicken fried steak I’ve ever experienced. And as someone who tries it all over the country, I speak from experience. It was smothered in the thickest gravy I’d ever tried to choke down. And the breading.. It was just awful! So incredibly thick it was easy to tell they are just trying to go for plate coverage here. I’ll include pics of the leftover(most of it) steak and breading after I separated them. I held some breading from only ONE SIDE of the steak next to the actual steak so you can see what they are doing. You are paying for breading if your order this.
I’ve tried many things from here and it’s just not worth it except to have your day brightened by Dianna who only works weekends.

We live close to this restaurant and have heard good things but have been unable to stop by to sit down and eat here. So we ordered through DoorDash and all the food except the huevos rancheros came out how we expected. That plate was just a soggy soupy mess. The corn tortillas were gross and there was no steak at all. I’m not sure if we even got the right thing to be honest. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called up to the store to explain what I received and the lady that answered the phone said “there is a ranchero sauce in there but I didn’t bag the order so I don’t know” after I asked if it was was supposed to be super watery. The picture was after I had dug just a little but you can see all the liquid and the meat or whatever it was kind of looks like dog food.

Delicious every time we come eat here. Love the service and the food is just wonderful. Always check the specials. I had Tres Leches French Toast today, which came with a side of 2 eggs and 2 pieces of bacon. So awesome!

I placed an online for pancakes & hash brown and it was delicious!! The portions are huge and it was priced very reasonably compared to other breakfast “cafe” if I’m being honest it’s much better than ihop, I’m looking forward to trying more things out on the menu #LouisanaApproved

Friendly, fast service with delicious food. Good sized portions, and cooked perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast! You’re not going to pay budget prices here, but you get what you pay for. Worth what they’re charging.

Grabbed some lunch here after a hike at Eagle Mountain Lake. First time to visit here, definitely won’t be our last! Food and service was incredible! The restaurant was clean & the waitress was very knowledgeable when we questioned menu items. He had the Vera Cruz chicken with onion rings & scratch mashed potatoes. I had the Meat loaf with Shiner gravy with homemade fries & fresh green beans. The chef visited our table as well as others to make sure everything was great! The presentation of the food & the amount of food made us feel like we were visiting a resort. You could tell everything was made fresh!

Absolutely delicious food. The portions are huge, especially for the prices given! The service was great; Candice was awesome! The atmosphere was nice and lively, but not overwhelming, and that's from someone who doesn't like eating in restaurants often!
When I went with my mother, sister, and my mom's friend, we all ordered something different, because we didn't know just how big the portions are! We took home those leftovers, and finished them asap; they were so good! Not to mention, the food is made fresh! And you can tell it is; it's absolutely amazing!
20/10 would HIGHLY recommend! 🌟🌟

kids want some pancakes so I ordered the pecan pancakes. This is a to go order and they put the syrup, whipped cream and butter all over the top… By the time I got home, it was a major mess.

Nice little diner
At the table, we had eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon, biscuit, gravy, fruit, oatmeal, coffee, and orange juice
Areas of weakness:
Biscuits were super dense and lacked flavor & texture
Oatmeal is hard to do well on a large scale I guess?? A bit gummy
Water was not filtered.. metallic taste. (If it’s filtered, it’s time to change the filter)
Strengths:
•Staff is super friendly
•eggs were prepared correctly
•hashbrowns were great
•sausage was good (said my 11 yr old)
•gravy was above average
Honestly, there wasn’t much memorable about the food but the vibe here was so cool… Like a family atmosphere.

Great food, huge portions and most everything is made from scratch..Even the orange juice.
We to the Juarez omelet or the Texan Classic breakfast, and one of their awesome pancakes.
Good service and easy place to stroke up a conversation at the bar...Yep they have Texas beers on tap too!
Breakfast and lunch only, and be prepared for a 15-20 min wait on the weekends, but it's worth it.
Update; 12/23/23: great breakfast with my wife and daughter today before Christmas shopping.
I enjoyed the Terlingua Special omelette.
