We had a Chicken wrap. No seasoning dip inside. Little pieces chicken cubed, mostly all lettuce. Had to ask for a side dressing $16. Not worth it.. Sister had Salad,,, brought it on a to go container. Small amount of lettuce, same little cubed chicken as our wrap. Thinly sliced cheese. Had to ask for dressing... Same price$16.. I heard the burgers are o.k. New Management must make a change, with those items!! Always liked food when it was The Carribean!! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
The review is for the new place, Lost Bay. Same Ole Lake minnetonka restaraunt attitude. We don't have to try hard because we have an amazing spot on the lake. Had to get the attention of our waiter every time a drink ran out. Food is mediocre and overpriced. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5
Great food! Bad service. The $6 tacos were delicious but overpriced. Wait staff young and lacking in any service knowledge. Slow and forgot drinks and requests for a side of sauce. You get no plates and plastic utensils you must unwrap. $14 Caesar salad was tiny with fast food dressing to peel open, served in to-go plastic clamshell. No napkins. But... the view is 👌 awesome, and the restaurant is super cute. The sunny, hot day we were there, the promotional table umbrellas had blown away earlier, and we were told we weren't allowed to open them. So we sweat while we ate.
Y'all, you have got it try this place out! Overwhelmed by the drink selection for margaritas, the chips and queso (to die for), and the tacos are street style and they come one by one and you order as many as you like but everything was amazing and no disappointments 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾!!! I wanted to be near the water this summer or I could just sit and eat and enjoy the views the warm sun maybe even makes new friends. So I reached out on the neighborhood app and ask those around me where is a good place to go and everybody loves. The outpouring response that I got was beautiful and amazing and I've tried this one as well as another one area and they both provide a unique experience all its own. But considering this place was the one place everybody talked about the most because of the margaritas and the tacos but mainly The margaritas LOL!!! Now by no means I'm not going to tell you that this is Taco Bell or anything like this cuz it's good quality food good quality drinks and I haven't even told you about the view yet so go to spend a little money on yourself because it's definitely well worth it! So the location yes it is on the lake to the point where if you're on a boat you can even pull right on up with your boat and park come in have a little something to eat a little drink and then head on out! I'm not sure but the seasonal hours are because everything is outside and there's no indoor seating at all. So I would definitely say go by yourself and go with some buddies or maybe even on a date night, but it definitely is worth it and if you beg to differ then there's something wrong with you haha! Because it's it by the water to enjoy the sunshine in the tranquility that is around I feel like you just can't let anything get you down. So go see my girl Kate she is a drop dead gorgeous young lady, men I do not know if she is single I did not ask that I guess she was just have to go and ask for her and be nice tip generously they work hard but be nice cuz I will ask her haha! So if you've gone to this point in Reading and you're not on your way to go get you a margarita I need you to question why not and get in the car and go... Now!!! Happy Summer! 💜💜💜 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50
I had high hopes for an improved dining experience now that the Tequila Butcher has ownership. Unfortunately, the only thing The Caribbean has going for it is the lovely lake side setting. The young staff is very friendly but not trained. Food is extremely sub par - lacking in flavor and quality. Portions are tiny for the price. Example - one jalapeño popper is $5! Tacos barely have any filing for $6 each. You can skip a visit to The Caribbean.
Place looks great...had a nice dinner there last nite. Wait staff a little, perhaps, untrained - had to ask for napkins! Burger was great! Red wine too warm. You should definitely chill that. THX

This is the first time we’ve been back here since they reopened. The docks have been totally redone and look great. The server was very nice and informative about the menu. However, I can not recommend the Texan brisket sandwich. The brisket was cut in large cubes. It was tough and fatty. The sausage was good though. My three stars is on the brisket, not the server who was great. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Great setting on the water with a decent deck. Do appreciate these neighborhood restaurants and the local flavor they bring. There wasn't boat parking because they are reconstructing the docks so we had to dock elsewhere and drive over. The wait staff was great (will be even better post covid when their smiles can be seen) and the food came out quickly. The food was as expected, largely deep fried but they do have burgers and salads we didn't try but I was told the burgers were good ... so maybe next time. Wings were a little disappointing as I ordered Caribbean rub and wasn't expecting them battered first, my bad for not asking. The fish basket was OK but on the greasy side. We'll go back when out boating but prices seemed high for the quality of food. The setting and lake accessibility probably will push it up to a four when we can boat over.
Nice view of the lake. Relaxed setting. Take this place as is and roll with it and you'll have a good time. Not your typical Lake Minnetonka joint. No need sneaking a bottle in - BYOB is encouraged.
A relaxed and picturesque environment with relaxed service. The staff were friendly but from observing, everything moved at a slow pace. We arrived in the middle of the rush (approximately 7:15 on a Friday night) so once we sat down we saw the hostess turning customers away since the wait would be so long. The prices seem inflated, and they are, but the portions are generous and reflect the quality of a casual bar atmosphere. If you've got no where to be, this is a nice place to relax and enjoy with friends. If you plan on drinking I would take advantage of their "Set-up" deal which allows you to bring your own liquor and use their mixers for under $4. A great place to sit, but not a great restaurant.
