Very delicious food 😋. It is like a buffet, so you have many options to choose from. Our group had lunch here, and we were lucky because it was not that crowded. I enjoyed this mediterranean food, and I would like to come over again.

We had a fantastic meal. We had Maklubeh. Their staff is kind, friendly and they are very well located if you want to visit the archeological sites in Jericho.

Everything About This Restaurant is Simply Awful
Located in the center of Jericho, the Mount of Temptation restaurant caters to tour-bus crowds. With their “captive audience,” the restaurant puts little to no effort in atmosphere, service, or quality and taste of food. Our car-service driver brought us here, probably because it appeared that the various drivers who brought customers ate for free.
For lunch, there was a steam-table buffet of limp vegetables, a few salad elements, and unidentifiable main dishes. We asked for a menu, which was clearly not usual for lunch since it took some convincing to get the menu, much less get someone to prepare the dishes we ordered. Frankly, the dishes looked like a “dog’s breakfast.” The pasta and lamb dish was dreadful. The pita bread was stale. The service was abrupt and rude.
Note that there is a “smoking area,” which means that cigarette smoke drifts throughout the entire eating area, so it’s quite unpleasant if you are a non-smoker.
All-in-all, this restaurant is dreck. If you have no other choice and your bus tour stops here, I would just recommend having ice cream from the stand just outside the restaurant. If your car service driver suggests this restaurant (as ours did), tell the driver to stop at a convenience store so that you can buy a soft drink and a bag of chips/crisps – packaged, processed snacks will be much tastier and healthier.
Regarding the gift shop. I bought some beautiful hand blown glass items to be shipped. When they arrived one of them was broken. I contacted the company and they gave me a choice of a new item right away and shipped it out. It arrived in perfect condition. It is so beautiful. I was extremely impressed with their fast response to this matter. About the restaurant, the food was great and our group had an excellent time and we created some wonderful memories there! I would love to go again if I ever return to Israel.

Stopped for lunch that was quite enjoyable at the buffet. But have to be honest , my high light was the rice pudding with the cinnamon. I requested extra cinnamon which they brought in a little nowl, about three tablespoons worth. The contents of which I used on two bowls of rice pudding. 😁 Can you say " happy pilgrim"?
