I visited this place on a weekend with friends and family, it was really nice. The staff were very friendly. The service was also quick. The menu options are good. They even help you choose based on your taste and interest. The food was also very nice. We had both veg and non veg, both were equally good. 1) My favourite aspect: Thembi's service. She always welcomes you with a warm smile; provides excellent suggestions; ensures that you're 100% happy. 2) Delicious, hearty dishes. 3) Their plug points remain functional during loadshedding, so it's a good place to refuel and work from when the power's out. Just look at the photos of food I have received from them. I placed an order for 2 garlic naans and 1 tandoori roti and one sweet. I was around the area and thought of taking it take away and eat with some curries I had in home. To my surprise when I reached home and opened the parcel the naan and tandoori roti were not cooked literally like raw dough. It's like a received just aata (dough). If you hold the naan in your hand it was falling down like a raw dough. How can they cheat like this. Also I placed the order 16.30 and came to the restaurant at 17.30 and then also I had to wait for 10 mins to get my order. My evening is spoiled. Try for your own luck for worst surprises 😜. I've been there twice and it has now become my favourite Indian restaurant in Joburg. Fantastic food, authentic and super tasty. Quantities are good as well. Reasonable pricing. Service is top notch and one of the best at Indian restaurants in the area. Their Tawa veg special comes especially recommended if you are a vegetarian. Their ghee jalebis and Delhi chaat are also also worth going there on the whim of a craving. Authentic Indian food served with a smile. Good food, value for money, great service. With their change of location they are now in a bigger location. They also have an Indian sweets section. What a great experienc, food and service my girlfriend and I had here!!! The reason for a 4 star rating is because the food portions were a bit smaller than expected but overall the food was fantastic, the staff is very friendly and always making sure customers are okay. It is very clean and pleasant to sit and eat here and the atmosphere is so calm and welcoming. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for great Indian food!!! This morning I had ordered through UberEATS,and my order was alu paratha,Gobi paratha and Chhole bhature.Chhole was very worse taste and less salt in it. Parathas were half burnt.
