Worth the try if you haven’t tried it. Durian puff was good and creamy, take one bite and durian boom in your mouth! Tried the yogurt puff but it wasn’t that great, just okay. They increased the pricing to RM20 per box of 6 puffs or RM3.90 per puff. Better to eat it immediately or keep in the fridge if you take away before eating it as it tasted better when it’s cold. Shopkeeper told us that it can only last 5 hours after buying it if we didn’t keep it in the fridge.

Light durian flavored cream puff. If you are expecting rich, thick, durian filling, u may be disappointed. The puffs as a sweet dessert is nice 😋

Best durian puffs in town, no doubt. Especially if you get and eat them fresh. Doesn't keep very well, but that's not the point of this pastry. Eat it fast in one bite! Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes One Bite Durian Puff

I bought 6 pieces of durian cream puff, 6 chocolate & 6 yogurt. Honestly, a bit disappointed with the quality. The puff pastry / choux pastry were dry and hard. The cream fillings were all very watery and not creamy. The yogurt cream tasted like sour milk (literally). The chocolate cream puff were ok. But I have tasted better chocolate cream puff elsewhere. I have to say their durian cream puff tasted the best among all 3 flavors. Sadly, it's too watery to our liking.

Size of these puffs are not consistent at all, some are big, some are small. The taste of the durian is not strong and taste watery. First and last time. Not recommended.
Durian puff was pretty good, creamy and nicely flavored. Tried the chocolate and yoghurt too but wasn’t too impressed with those, you can skip and just get the durian one. Their pastry is a bit on the firmer side.

Interesting experience but I think it’s a dish you’ll just have one piece and that’s enough. Felt it was abit expensive for Malaysian standards as well and the durian flavour did not feel “gao” enough to warrant the price tag. Probably worth to take your money and time elsewhere, there are endless food offerings along Jonker Street anyway!
Photos courtesy of Valentine Teng and Alma. I have written accolades of Taste Better One Bite Durian Puffs (yes, it's a thing) before. Cream puffs are delicate, floofy creamy bites of fun. It's a tad pricey now but when the burst of flavour hits your mouth, your brain forgives your stomach. This is the original shop which was soooo popular that they opened another branch just down the same street. This is a new draw from Melaka of the recent decade or so. Make sure you follow it so a hundred years from now, it's just one of the local delicacies a visitor must have in Melaka, as it is now.
Nice durian puff find in Melaka. Limited cream puff stores around that sells decent puffs. The oroginal durian puff apparently started from this place. One puff one bite is their proposition. The size is made for one bite to have the durian cream flowing in ur mouth

Nowadays, durian puff is a common food in Malaysia. However, according to the documented history, durian puff with one bite was started here. The size of each puff is suitable for everyone to take it at once. If you did not have it at once, you will not be able to enjoy with the juicy in your mouth. Believe me, please put the whole puff in your mouth, otherwise you will regret.
