It’s a long time since the last review, so maybe it’s game over. But, as someone who travelled an hour and a half to get to this restaurant, finding it not open without explanation is particularly galling. I did everything before going here: checked the opening hours online, checked the Facebook page to make sure there was no special event, and so on. I arrived exactly at opening time, and waited 20 minutes. No sign of life. I double checked the Facebook page (no post for 6 months), and then finally called the phone number on the board outside (pictured) - all to no avail. Infuriating. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Nice food, nice chef, they serve authentic Indian cuisine(mostly curry) The chef lived in Thailand for a wait to learn real local Thai food. Unfortunately the day we went there I was only craving for Indian curry. It’s also similar to what I had in a restaurant run by Indian, so I believe that could be authentic as well. I had chicken curry which is a little bit spicy( spicier will be better). The curry flavor is niiiiiice with a wide range of spices. Hope they run well in Taitung!
One of the best Indian restaurants in Taiwan, and certainly my favourite so far. Everything is packed with spice and flavour, and the owner has obviously gone to great lengths to recreate an authentic taste, without compromising authenticity or changing anything to fit in with local tastes. I wish more restaurants would have the confidence do this. Another plus: the service is great. This is one of the few restaurants in Taiwan where someone actually asked me if the food was okay shortly after receiving my meal and starting eating. Every restaurant worth its salt should do this in my opinion, but in Taiwan this seems to be the exception. Highly recommended!
I liked the food, quite tasty and enough to fill the stomach. They have very limited vegetarian food options. Literally just 2 and quite a variety of Non-veg options. My friend bought Mix vegetable curry but was a little disappointed because there was less veggies and more mushrooms.

A great place for authentic Indian and Thai cuisine. Hard to find such fusion cuisine that is good at both and yet here it is, in a remote county. Both the cook and the owner had spent considerable amount of time at learning these cuisine from the host countries. I came here to try out the Indian cuisine the first day as I found it on Yelp, and came back next day at the owner's invitation to try out the Thai cuisine. The owner told me the business is more of an art to them, which they never intend to upscale like a business but rather want to dedicate themselves to upholding the authenticity of the cuisine.
Easily one of the best indian food I ever had in Taiwan. Frankly, I didn't expect the food to be of such great taste. But it was beyond expectations and the rate was reasonable. Wonder why such restaurants never make up to Taipei or more crowded places. 10/10 strongly recommend to eat in Taitung. Finally, the chef and service was great..

The Indian Chicken curry was extremely tasty and spiced to my medium request. The chicken was very well prepared - melt in your mouth soft but not overcooked. There was rice and fruit and interesting "elephant ear" toasted bread. I had their imported Thai "Leo" brand beer (Singha). Praveen and his wife Yiling (sp?) were very attentive and checked that everything was done to my taste. They are wonderful people and it was a pleasure to meet them.

Everything was delicious and the staff is very nice and you can tell they're very hard working. They come out to assist people very quickly when the bell is rung. You get curry, rice, naan, and some fruit for only $280, which is a very reasonable price for Indian food in Taiwan. I love curry, and their chickpea curry was wonderful. I'll definitely come by again if I'm ever back in Taitung!
Tasty food, but $290 for chick pea dish seemed painfully expensive to this visitor. The naan would benefit from some flavor (Eg a little garlic or salt at least). I was kind of expecting some exotic atmosphere in the restaurant (Indian music? Paintings? That kind of thing) but the atmosphere and welcome was rather modest.
