You know the place is good when you arrive fifteen minutes before opening and already a line has formed. Run by a group of high energy young people who seemed to be always dashing from table to kitchen and back. Drink order taken and delivered in short order. Seemed like we were waiting a bit long for the food but that was no problem as the placemats encouraged us to leave a sketch so we did. I ordered the Coyote which comes with bacon and onion rings and it was quite tasty, sloppy but tasty. The accompanying french fries were good too. My missus had the 1472 (?) and it was also very good. A bit cramped in the dining room but that's not a big deal either since we were quite busy eating. Recommended

I had the vegetarian burger with roasted pumpkin. It is very dry as there is just small amount of yogurt and no other sauce, but the ingredients taste good and it is a creative combination of flavors. The salad was really huge and tasted amazing, but I would once again appreciate a little bit more of the dressing for such big salad.

We got there around 1 and had to wait only like 5 minutes and they could only fit us(5 ppl) outside which I didn’t mind! So it is quite busy so be prepared. The food was absolutely delicious the entire family loved their burgers. Beware you do have to pay at the desk inside so don’t ask for the bill at the table like we did. They speak English great in case some of you are worried and there are English menus for any tourists. The servers are very friendly. Definitely recommend!!
Ended up coming here a second time, they recognized us and still fantastic.

Delicious burgers, nice flavour combinations. Friendly staff, who lend us a pen to play on the paper provided on the tables. We came back for a second time. I'd recommend to come quite a bit before it opens up, otherwise you might end up without a table.

The burger was good but not crazy good. The caramelized onions could have been better and maybe something else like tomatoes could have been added. The fries were not that great since they could have been more crunchy and the garlic mayo was not that intense. But still one of the best burger places we tried in Ponta Delgada.

Was there today around 145pm, you wait outside for a table, moved really quickly. The hamburgers were fantastic, made to order. We ordered the 3 different ones all cooked medium. The meat was so juicy and drinks were cold. Yummy! Highly recommend. This is day one in Ponte Delgada and we already plan to go back.
Update: we went back for dinner on last night (tuesday). We were in line at 706pm and there was an hour and half wait already. Totally worth the wait.
We were seated around 830pm. The food again was amazing!
Advice, go early for dinner and wait.

Found the place by accident. Since the place was packed with people, we gave it a try and had some very nice burgers and great deserts.

Excellent burger place with good vegetarian options. Needs vegan options though. Waited about 30 minutes for a table. This place is popular. Hidden feature: they have a large beer tap list with 12 Portuguese beers! Just wish they had a full list up somewhere so you could see all the breweries and types of beer. Excellent and a must-visit.

There are not many fancy places on the island you can visit for dinner. But Suplexio is definitely one of the best ones you can try. Prepare for delicious burgers and super friendly staff. We visited Suplexio even twice. We tried both of the vegetarian variants with sweet potato fries and Blondie beer. It is not expensive and if you sit outside, you can enjoy the cool atmosphere of the greatest city centre of Ponta Delgada.

I'm always on the hunt for a special burger and i have been to many Restaurants that claimed to make the best burger anywhere.
Supléxio is definitely worth a visit, it's a very fine burger, quite firm and nothing is falling apart and it's still not dry. This is not easy to achieve, so kudos!
The sauces are delicious and the buns are also absolutely fine. However, we got asked how we wanted our patty and we both went for medium. What we got was close to raw which was still edible but just a bit too...primal. The fried egg on my Special couldve used some seasoning (same as the fries but i think this is azorean style, they weren't seasoned anywhere)
We did see other people with the same kind of patty and we also saw people with patties that were well done. Just be prepared for that, if you don't want your patty almost raw you should probably go for well done.
Like i said, still edible and the quality of the meat was great, so overall not a tragedy. It did sour the experience slightly though.
Good Burger, nice people, exceptional lemonade. Can recommend!
