This is a fairly new place. Friendly staff. Clean and cold inside the A/C area. They also have an al fresco area with tables and chairs.
Best food was the wings. The burger was A-ok.; the chips that came with it was very good though. The pasta was normal. Will go back to try for more dishes.

I’d give 5 stars for the price. For Php220, you can already get baby back ribs that’s so tender it literally fall off the bone and eats up half of your plate. Serving is more than what a normal person can consume. Their ribs tasted more like Humba/Patatim, I don’t know but I was expecting it to be barbecue-flavored. It was good, just not what I was expecting.
I ordered mashed potato as well thinkjng it’d be your usual mashed potato. But all it was was just that—mashed boiled potato—sans any seasoning, save for a sprinkle of chopped parsley. No salt, butter, milk or even gravy. When asked, the staff said that’s really how it is, because it’s meant as substitute to rice. Again, not what I expected.
The meaty cheesy fries weren’t really fries—they were potato wedges. I’d say they put too much of the cheese sauce. I didn’t like that they put red onions instead of white—the flavor of the onion was too overpowering and in my opinion did not go well with the whole ensemble.
The other items on the menu such as burger steak and lemon fish were good, however. We also had ceasar salad, and all I can say is it was what I enjored the most among everything we ordered. It looked like Christmas, too—fitting for the season.
Calamansi/Basil/Cucumber juice was good but was too sweet/sour for my liking. It didn’t go well with any of the dish we ordered.
The place, although a section is open and overlooking the city, did not receive much airflow because there were trees on other sides. If you’re someone who sweats easily, you might want to sty inside their enclosed place with air-conditioning.
One thing we also didn’t like much is their background music, it was a repetitive christmas-themed cafe instrumental that was a little too loud and bland for me and my friends.
Overall, the place is not bad. Food is of quality and affordable and with a nice view of the city. I’ll definitely visit again.

I have been here twice already, first with my brother and second with the whole family. Both times were a Sunday. So queue was to be expected. We were seated in the alfresco area.
The first time was a Sunday Late Afternoon, which is a great time to come, sun is setting and cool breeze. The second time was night time near closing hour, the queue was even longer at this time. Other than that, Fish and Chicken meals were unavailable at this time so we had to change orders too. Since long queue, the staff said we had to wait around 15-20 mins, but we waited around 10mins when they started serving our
Orders.
We also ordered, pastries while waiting for our food. (Staff somehow burnt another customers pastry, so keep an eye out for this during busy times)
Food was sumptuous , coffee was pleasant, & plenty of parking.
Staff was courteous even on peak hours, & up on their feet.
The only downside is that their A/C area is so limited. We’d love to comeback be seated inside sometime.

Fast and friendly service. Food came out hot and had generous serving sizes relative to the price. Hope the soil mound ifo of the Al fresco area gets collected, it’s in the way of the great view

Before I decided to visit the place, I inquired about the following:
1. Pet-friendly
2. Senior discount
3. GCash
4. Accessibility
I got very clear answers, so upon reaching the place, I ordered grilled cheese immediately.
The serving was large enough for 2 diners, but I ate them all.💃🥰
The view is relaxing and is recommended for those who prefer open dining, though Sumu Cafe also has an air-conditioned indoor dining area.
It's a pleasant experience! Try Sumu Cafe now!

The soft opening concept was created for a reason. This is to let your soon to be loyal customers manage their expectations that some items on your menu may be unavailable or that there may still be some hiccups in your operations because you are still tweaking them. Unfortunately they did not tell us this until we complained because our orders were still not served after 35 minutes. We ordered 4 sausage egg & rice and 1 daingsilog and 2 Spanish lattes. They served one sausage order after 10 mins but did not serve the rest till after 45 mins. They clearly did not have enough staff that time as the one taking orders at the counter was also the one preparing coffee. I really hope they can get their act together in terms of service because their food was honestly good. I enjoyed the sausage as well as the Spanish latte. The overlooking view was also great.

EDIT: Revised my review since they addressed my complaint about the PWD discount.
Food is good and coffee is okay. A bit of a hassle lang: I was asking to change my order (I’ll just add) but they insisted hindi pwede kasi sa GCash ako nagbayad 😅
Overall, there's so much to try you can come back again. One of the must tries is their mushroom chicaron.

Was looking for late night coffee with a view and this new cafe's spacious parking was very inviting. They have an AC area and outside area w/ some city lights view. They occupy just the back part of the building, so it's likely that there will be a new resto / bar aside from it.
