The food was ok but a bit salty and left us thirst and quite expensive for what it was. We weren’t offered any dessert or coffee and staff ignored us after our main course plates were cleared. The rice seemed expensive at $4 per head and was served in 2 bowls for 4 of us. There was far too much rice and 1 bowl would have been enough but we weren’t offered that option. Ordered beef black bean stir fry and sweet and sour pork to take away. Beef dry and tough and pork also dry. My order cost $65 which included rice and wontons. Wontons also disappointing as also dry. Amazing menu, so many choices and not just your normal Thai choices loads more than the rest. It was a Wed night and the restaurant was more than half full, that's a good sign, and the takeaway side was just as busy. Loved the Wine selection and there food is exceptional. Green chicken curry & Panang chicken. Well done Starlake Thai

Recently purchased pad ped with crispy pork and rice. Pork pieces were too large and scarce, dry and unpalatable. Vegetables again too large and floating in liquid. A huge disappointment, tasted disgusting - never again! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–40 Food: 1

We got a takeaway which consisted of three mains and two roti breads and two satay sauces. All three mains were tasteless , probably the worst Thai we’ve had at any Thai restaurant in the bay !! We were short changed of one satay sauce and all for the extortionist price of $90 . The roti bread was nice 🙄 Have been before and enjoyed very much but have been told it’s recently changed hands ! Eaten in the restaurant and really enjoyed it so decided to give takeaway a go. Was very disappointed in the take away food. Lemon chicken, peanut stir fry and pad thai. Very little greens in it and it suffers because of it.
