Saw the garlic bacon cheese burger add today,and decided to try. Ordered combo. I'm sure its a great burger, but this one was pretty pathetic. From order to delivery of meal was less than 5 minutes. There was no crowd. Ingredients for burger were cooked way previous, cold and not fit to eat. Tots and drink great. Whats happened to pride in products that business are selling. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with lettuce only, I don't know why but they don't have tomatoes on the chicken sandwiches anymore?? Anyway when the chicken sandwich finally got out there and I got home to eat it, I looked at it and at first I thought it was a hamburger patty because it was so dark brown, it was actually the chicken sandwich but it was almost burnt. It was less than half an inch thick, was completely dried up, the lettuce didn't even look like lettuce anymore. I don't live close enough to just drive back over and show them the sandwich and get my money back, or I would have. It seems like most Sonic's are gross nowadays. No more food from Sonic for me, I'll only get drinks there. This one is hit or miss for me. Maybe it's my timing. Sometimes I get lucky and get piping hot and fresh food and sometimes I'm disappointed when I get home and my order is merely lukewarm. Sometimes the burgers are beautifully put together and sometimes it seems like someone really hated their job that day. Overall, I will continue to go here. It's definitely more good than bad. Waited 30 minutes and still left without food. After not being able to order from the app, I buzzed in and let them know it wasn't working, so I wanted to order from there instead. Took my order, said it would be right out. 20 minutes later I buzzed in again asking if my order was forgotten. They had no idea what I had, I told them it was a cheeseburger and drink. He said he only had a cheeseburger. To which no one still brought it out. Haven't had very good service lately, usually during the night hours after 8 pm. I’ve never been the one to complain let alone take the time to leave a review and I’m far from being a Karen but seriously, from experience of working in fast food, I know it gets busy rushes often but the attitude one of the employees here while taking our order and talking to us in a condescending manner when we asked a question; while rushing us and cutting us off mid sentence is not necessary. I love sonic and worked for one of the busiest ones in Irving all through high-school and regardless of how busy we were, never have us HIGH SCHOOLERS (at the time) were this rude.
