burgers were all on the dry side. could use a bit more seasonings. The zucchini chips were real good. It would have been better if we were served them before the whole meal came. I had the Coconchita special which was pulled pork on the burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The decor was modern and cool and Vanderpump Rules was playing. You could tell the owners thought out every apsect of the food and the vibes. I came with my 3 kids and husband they all loved it and said they’re so glad we have the best burger joint right in Whitehall. The Orange Hibiscus Craft beer was a perfect choice with a heavy dinner. Great place to get a variety of options for everyone in the family and priced right! Tonight we got Southern Buddha cauliflower burgers and a cheese burger. Delicious! The Japanese rice side was a hit with our kids, and the fries were a perfect match. Also, the homemade pickle slices were a tasty surprise. I’m excited to come back and try the other menus items. We had a great first experience at Smashley’s! A few little tweaks and it would be perfect, but they’re off to a good start. The zucchini chips were light and thin. The dill/tzatziki dipping sauce tasted great but was a bit too thick for dipping. We almost tried the empanadas but would have preferred beef (maybe an addition later?) and they have all the makings of some pretty great fried pickles if they choose. Tried the burger we’ve all been waiting for. Burger was different. Patty didn’t really have a beef taste and wasn’t seasoned that good. Burger also had a reddish tint to it. Didn’t know if it wasn’t cooked all the way or if the seasoning they did use wasn’t mixed into the beef well. I’m a big burger person and this just wasn’t what I like. Burger was okay but not great!! Hopefully time open will improve the kinks. The menu is well laid out, easy for anyone with a food sensitivity to navigate. The righteous brother burger was fantastic, although the descriptions of the first 4 burgers didn't really distinguish from eachother. The last 3 definitely sounded unique. The righteous brother burger did remind me of the cheeseburger hamburger helper in flavor. The chicken rice bowl was eh. Nothing special nothing unique could have gotten the same thing at the mall food court. The restaurant itself is incredibly echoy, it was so loud with people, we were nearly shouting to each other across the small tables. It took a little over 35 minutes to get our food, partly from visible lack of organization. Top it off there were at least 3 people running the floor and not a single one addressed the order bottle neck. They seemed to only hold conversation with people they knew and did the very brief drive by if things were good while your mouth was full. Was really excited to try it out and was disappointed with the actual outcome. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
