I asked Smallcakes Olathe to make a gender reveal cake that we could smash for our toddlers party. We paid over $50 for this cake even though their website states that a 4” cake is $30. I went ahead and paid for them to make it as I did not want to make my own gender reveal cake. We then brought them the sonogram and left it with them until picking up the cake. Come party and cake time they literally did not put any color on the inside for the gender reveal at all. Very disappointing and really ruined the party. I reached out to them regarding this issue and I’ve just been ignored. I definitely will not trust them to make anything for me in the future.

Smallcakes did a personalized Birthday cake for my best friend and partner, and it turned out amazing!!! I had several themes going on: golf, Disney, Chiefs and the Earth that represented travel. But the designer nailed it along with getting a happy birthday on there with a small additional saying. I was soo surprised and happy about it!! Loved it!! And it was designed in pink and turned out amazing 🤩! Couldn't be happier!

We love this shop, and have been ordering birthday cake and cupcakes since 2019. This year my little wanted Venom and she loved them! Thank you so much. Smallcakes Cupcakery are super accommodating and was able to get an order in right before Thanksgiving. Highly recommend!

They were able to make me a small customized cake within three days of ordering. I did everything online and they were prompt and the order was correct. This was our first experience with them and the cake was really good. The outer frosting was pretty sweet but my kids were not complaining! Get the peanut butter cream cheese filling; you won’t regret it. A little spendy but for getting everything I asked for without the hassle for a mom that procrastinated it was worth it.

We took a road trip to visit Lego land for our youngest 4th birthday… I wanted something special for her, I google and this was the 1st place to get cupcakes from.. I read all review and it was a hit and miss so I decided to order.. I order a birthday and red velvet cupcake online. Order was going to ready at 100 we didn’t pick up til about 4 or so when we got there I was greeted with smiles she was taking care of someone, once she finish she asked how can she help told her my name, they didn’t have the order so I showed her she gave me two right out the showcase and apologize.. the price was great as well $4.50 each Needless to say the cupcake was really good nice and moist.. the icing was sweet.. over all I had a great experience..

We had custom Doc Mcstuffins cake made for my daughter birthday, we all super excited to how it turn and let me tell you it turn out super cute and love all the details, also the cake was delicious and everyone at her birthday party just was so in love it how turn out and how delicious it was. Bri was very easy to work with, very kind m, friendly and very professional to work with it! I would recommend small cakes to anyone! We all very happy how it turn out and how it taste and most of all how professional and kind, friendly and easy to work it

My birthday was today Valentines day as well. I came in around 2pm with my husband . We are both male and of african decent. Immediately the (I'm assuming) owner who wore a pink sweater kept rushing us to order when I told her and her assistant that I need to see what kind of cupcakes you offer. Which was occupied by customers. They would not stop staring at us clearly out of intimidation because we are black males in a cupcake shop In Olathe Kansas. The cashier was even shaking so bad while the Karen bred owner standing in the corner staring at us like she was preparing to call the police. The cupcake was great but we felt very unwanted. Very pathetic. All I wanted was a cupcake for my birthday.
