I have never written a review of anywhere before but this place is amazing! I ordered something through door dash for my sister who was recovering from surgery (I live in Alaska) and I never use DoorDash so I didn't know it wasn't normal for it to take an hour for someone to pick up the food. Long story short; the dash driver straight up ghosted me. I get a call from an employee at Slice of Heaven saying that he was concerned that the driver hadn't shown up; he told me to cancel the order, then asked for my sisters address to personally deliver the order! Free of charge. I asked how I could Venmo a tip or something but he just said he was happy to do this. That is the most amazing customer service. I had to write a review. Thank you! Just wow! I think we have found our new favorite local bakery. Beautiful bakery right next to boomers. All of the food that we purchased was incredibly fresh and taste delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will 100% be visiting again! Update: Brought my wife home a mint brownie thing…she took a bite and said “you weren’t expecting to have any this were you?” If you have never had fine baked goods, it’s weird, for instance with store bought cookies you eat 4 to be satisfied or maybe a half a box. With things that are this good, you eat half of a cookie and you are good, indulgence is eating the whole thing. It really doesn’t make sense until you try it. I am a new believer. Bought a couple lemon bars to bring home to try this place out. Bite one: Oh my god That’s it, that’s the whole review Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This cute little place was way more than I expected. The treats were absolutely amazing. We got the blueberry, lemon pie bar, the peanut butter brownie, the pecan pie bar and a frosted sugar cookie. The quality of the sugar cookie says a lot about the bakery and these did not disappoint. They were soft, flavorful and the frosting was not just your run of the mill icing but luscious ganache. Also, the prices were very fair. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was absolutely pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back. Marci and her crew have always been very kind and respectful to us. The baked goods are amazing in my opinion. They always have so much variety when we come in and lots of gluten free options as well. Marci made my wedding cake also and it was perfect! The cakes are super creative and flavorful.
