The food was divine, and the service was incredible. We ordered a five-course meal and paired it with a three-course drink. The waiters patiently instructed us on eating these creative dishes. I do wish, however, that they can provide us with a few more options in drinks, though! Especially in nonalcoholic beverages… And please, for the love of God, have a bit more outdoor decorations. I had the window seat, and your outside looks like a giant cemetery at night. 10/10 will visit there again
At Sinasera 24, you will dine with a Michelin-trained chef who worked in France and returned to his motherland to empower and connect his community. Featuring local ingredients, you will try innovative food that tells the story of Taiwan's Hualien county, creating culinary dishes that can be found nowhere else in the world. Delicious and beautiful food!!

Nice fine dining experience. Every dish has multiple flavors. Wines were average but the sommelier is nice and cute.

The atmosphere: We went to Sinasera 24 with our whole extended family. When we first arrived (with all of our kids), they just seemed concerned for bringing so many kids. We insured our kids would be well behaved before we went to the restaurant and I think they did well for a 3.5 hour dinner. I think after they noticed our kids were not going crazy in their restaurant, they seemed to relax a bit and our waitress even came over and hung out with our kids and was finally smiling more. It's not like Per Se where people are friendly and socializing with you between servings...it was more like French Laundry where it's a quiet dinner and they just serve you and quietly leave you to your dining experience. The food: The food was fantastic !!! It was well presented. I was fortunate that my kids really didn't want to eat all the food...so I had triple portions :). We really loved the presentation, the service and especially the desserts. Conclusion: I don't know if this restaurant is a Michelin restaurant yet but I can see it happening eventually. Food is well presented, very clean restaurant and it is very creative. The only thing I think needs improvement was the bathroom (which is actually part of their hotel not the restaurant)
I think it's hugely overrated. Overall the presentation looked nice and some dishes were good, but hardly any of them packed a punch of flavors. I couldn't taste parsley, coriander, saffron or lemon juice in the dishes that they were claimed to be added. Strawberry kombucha lacked sweetness to my liking and my friend thought it was bitter. And there were lip marks on my glass which was really unacceptable.
Excellent fine dining experience. The restaurant has a nice ocean view. Every dish using local ingredient is cooked to perfection. Children friendly, child meal is available.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hidden (literally hidden) gem in the little town in Taitung. I'll be honest when I say I wasn't expecting much. But I was wrong. It is high end dining at its finest with a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean. The service is beyond impeccable. You are taken care of as soon as you walk through the door between the hotel and Sinasera 24. The food made with indigenous ingredients is phenomenal and presented beautifully. It is not rich and the seasoning is on the lighter side but just enough to enhance the dish. The fish (presented as a flower), bamboo shoots and shrimp, angus steak are like a work of art. Another bonus was the 70% chocolate and cocoa pudding. It is expensive but good to treat yourself and great for a big celebration. It is not to be missed! P.s. The chef who came back from France is no doubt a top-notch. You can tell he definitely takes pride in the place – Taitung. We arrived at 6:00 and there were two other tables. We were greeted by the sweet, enthusiastic local waitress, who also told us on the story behind each dish on the menu by explaining many of the indigenous, fresh ingredients and the local stories inspiring the chef’s cooking. The best meal of my 5-day trip.
