We are taking a coffee break at Sijavga after walking for a while. We also tried some excellent espresso and cappuccino here. The homemade cakes are delicious too! The restaurant is very warm inside. Perfect for the freezing day when we were there. The views are so gorgeous. The owners are very gave us a warm welcome too! All the food we ate was great, apart from the tortilla wrap, but that could be taste preferences. The atmosphere was very cozy as there was almost no one there after 7 and a fireplace in the winters. There are some cats of the owner that wander around which we really enjoyed but it might be a thing to consider if you are allergic/wary of them. They are also one of the only places open in Perast for food in New Years Eve - they have a set menu (with a lot of pork) and it’s around £60 per person. We didn’t choose this as it was a lot of food and too pricey for us, but might be right for someone else. This place is really bad and I would avoid it at all costs. The location is wonderful and the service is friendly but the menu is a tourist trap. I ordered one of the most expensive dishes on the menu, seafood spaghetti that claimed it came with prawns but didn’t. It comes with muscles and calamari that must have come from a 3d printer as they were rock hard and had to check my teeth afterwards. Never experienced over cooked calamari ‘chunks’ like it. Pasta sauce was runny, watery and made by a child out of his first lesson in food tech at school. Check my picture and run a quarter of a mile further down the street towards Kotor direction to find a better restaurant. Any other is better that this daylight theft. We were in Perast 2 months and this Restaurant and Bar was always amazing!! We were frequent customers 😀 The Owners, servers and cook are amazing! Inside has a nice cozy fireplace for the cold days and an open seating by the Bay to soak up the views and sunshine! A MUST try is the Cream Cake! Yum!! The location in very nice and the service is friendly but I have to give a low score due to the horrible almond cake. They claim it is home made, but it cannot be true. Just looking at it you realize it. It costs fortune, it is very dry and super sweet. We couldn’t eat it after one bite and we left it all. Scam alert. We asked for tap water... They brought a bottle of water without our asking and charged us 5.5 euro for it. Check other reviews: they often bring this expensive water without permission to scam customers. The food is good and coffee is good... So why scam people? How do you sleep? My colleagues and I came to Montenegro to help improve the education system, to help Montenegro improve itself. You reward us by ripping us off? Shame on you. I can't imagine how your families feel. Well... Perfect view to go with delicious food! We had the tikka masala chicken screwer, daily menu (ropa vieja -shredded veal) and chicken nuggets. Each of the meals were combined with extras to enrich their flavours. Before you order water check the prices, it's 8 EU for 0.75 bottle. Prices have changed from the previous menu foto I've seen here, gone up a euro. So I took a photo of the menu :) Don't miss out this great restaurant!
