Visit this fast food for nicely cooked sandwiches, you will enjoy them. Visit this place and try good coffee. Visitors don't like ice cream at Sheetz. This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Here you will pay reasonable prices. But this spot has been rated below average by Google.
I’ll stopped here around 11:20 AM on a Sunday morning to get gas in for my son to the bathroom. They have a 24/7 restaurant with a drive thru and a car wash. They have self-check out machines. My friend got food by ordering on the kiosk.
The car wash has 3 options ($9, $12, and $15). I wish it explained what each included at the pump. I walked over to the car wash first to see what each option entailed. I needed up getting the highest option because my rental was extremely dirty. I bought the car wash at the pump right before pumping gas.
Gas was $2.99 a gallon and got about 17 gallons. The receipt had a code on it for me to get the car wash. The car wash was very loud when it came to the instructions, telling you to pull forward, stop, and to put car in park. It announces each step that’s going on before it occurs, which I thought was pretty cool. The car wash was completely touch-less. I inspected the vehicle afterwards. While it was cleaner than before, there were areas that were still dirty which shows up clearly on a white vehicle.
Another great Sheetz location. They seem to all be great but I like this one particularly when traveling east.
They have a self checkout center which is great for introverts. Very clean bathrooms. Lots of snacks and drinks to choose from when road tripping.
The food here is excellent. You are doing yourself a disservice not ordering from the counter. Their subs rival Publix. Yes they are that good.
I forgot why I stopped coming to this location until tonight, when I stopped for food on the way home from work. Went inside, there was a small group (like 3 people) ordering at one of the 3 kiosks. No one else standing around waiting for food or standing near the kiosks. I walk up and decide that I want the chicken strip platter, which comes with fryz and a choice for the other side, along with some Mac and cheese bites. I selected biscuit for the other side, didn’t add anything on it, just a biscuit (this is important in a moment). After I finished the order and paid at the self checkout, I went to stand near the pickup area. There were two other people in the area, one of the group of 3 and a woman that came in and ordered while I was at the kiosk. According to the receipt, I put my order in at 9:11pm. I did not get my food until 9:29pm. I have ordered this exact same combination from other locations AT BUSIER TIMES OF DAY multiple times and had to wait maybe 10 minutes; I’ve never had to wait almost 20 minutes for any food at any other Sheetz locations.
Fast forward to getting home with my food; the chicken strips were drier than any strips I’ve ever had from anywhere. And to top it off, my PLAIN side biscuit was cut in half, so I opened it to look at it and there was mayonnaise on it. As said earlier, I did not select anything to be added to the biscuit, but there it was. I’ve never been a fan of mayo, but if I wanted it on my SIDE biscuit, I would’ve selected that. Now I did hear “I guess mayo” from behind the counter but of course I’m not going to assume that was my order at the time, but I guess it was. I guess we’re just assuming what people want now.
But wait there’s more! When I was waiting to pick up my food, I was just minding my own business, pacing around a little, checking my phone and such, right. Tell me why almost every time I looked up, one of the members behind the counter would be giving me an odd stare? Tall white dude with glasses, he had some sort of red thing on the top of his name tag, don’t know if that meant he was the supervisor or what, but he kept looking at me weird. Could be the way I look, as I have dyed hair, piercings, and tattoos. Maybe it’s the fact that I don’t specifically look like a man or a woman. Whatever reason you had for staring at me with that look on your face, I don’t care. Maybe you shouldn’t be working in the public if you’re gonna be judging like that.
I should have just gone somewhere else because this experience was not what I was expecting at all, compared to what I normally experience at the McDonald parkway location.
Every time I try to go to Sheetz the stock is near empty on the drinks. They advertise prices only good with a Sheetz card, but will not supply Sheetz card to use… how about just charging a price for the drinks? Really wish we had a quick trip here. They don’t play this game. I left with nothing. Not falling for deceptive sales.
Good location. Not too far off highway. Definitely the best convenience store/gas option at this exit. Staff were friendly in our interactions with them. Store seemed well stocked. Restrooms were a little under maintained, with one sink not even working in the men's room. Hopefully this is temporary rather than typical for this location.
The only reason I gave it a two even was because the lady running the register was very bubbly and polite.. But the floor was so sticky my shoes kept sticking to the floor. I went to get a fountain drink and they were out of all cups almost and had dirty finger prints on the only size they had still out. Someone spilled drink all over the straw it looked like and it had prices of trash all over the floor. It had time to completely dry so It had been there a while. This is the third time I have stopped in and was disgusted by the appearance and or products laying around
The staff was very friendly during my visit. The store was well stocked. There was quite a few flavors of slushes in the drink area. The coffee machines were giving a error that the machines needed cleaning, and one of the employees quickly stopped and cleaned the machines for me.
My last two experiences there were pretty short. One time I had to use the restroom and another time I wanted a soft drink. Both times I found the place to be a clean, pleasant, and relatively quiet atmosphere, at least when I was there both times. If I had been staying longer, I'm sure I would have enjoyed it more. In the past when I have gone, I have really enjoyed the food. I will have to make it a point to try to get over here more often, especially since I have not had an actual meal there in a while.
