We stumbled upon this hidden gem where everything was perfect – the food, the service, everything! It might seem out of the way, nestled in the middle of nowhere, but the incredible views make the journey worthwhile. The sushi came in generous, thick cuts, the Udon was spot-on, and the pork meal got rave reviews from my girlfriend. The restaurant is cozy and small, making for a relaxed dining experience.
Heads-up: the bugs outside are relentless, so don't forget your bug spray if you step out for pictures. Highly recommend for a fantastic meal with a view!

First time here, so we ordered two lunch bento boxes and one variety tempura basket. The foods here are amazing. It's very clear that they put a lot of care in what they do. Starting from the freshness of the ingredients to the detail marinations, cutting, cooking, to finial food presentations. I've often been a little bit hesitant about ordering sashimi that contains variety of fish choices, fearing that I would taste a lot of the fishiness, contrary to my belief, consistently every bite all I tasted was the rich flavor of the fish itself. You know that they are serious about their food and they don't take it lightly even on the side dishes, as expected, taste amazing. The diakon cooked too perfection, evenly transparent. Burdock shreds had a different marination than what you would usually find in a Japanese restaurant. Don't be deceived by the dark soil sauce complexity on the burdock shreds or red peppers you see in the dish. They are only for special flavoring for a balanced light taste and not spicy at all. Fried oysters were spectacular with the small downside that it would have been perfect if they were served with tater sauce instead of barbecue sauce. The variety tempura basket was cooked to perfection. I am still puzzled by how they have managed to cook every variety of vegetables or shrimp precisely that every piece hold it's texture and flavors, no greasiness. Hostess / cashier was extremely friendly, very helpful, and very polite.

An amazing Japanese restaurant in a well-hidden area between Hualien and Taroko National Park. This place is a must for those looking for a surprising dinner location with pure Asahi beer with authentic Japanese cuisine! This place is seriously underrated!
Amazing food with outstanding food presentation. The restaurant is small and has a beautiful garden with decoration and lots of flowers. Highly recommend!

What a delightful Japanese restaurant in the middle of the fields! The sushi and sashimi were good with the vinegar rice being quite authentic in taste (I would know, since I grew up in Japan!) My kids loved the sushi rolls. I recommend getting their sushi and sashimi :)
