This place was so good! I’m not sure where the reviews about the bad and mean owners came from, because the older Asian lady that served me was very welcoming and recommended lots of different products. Maybe I got lucky, but the bread was fresh, the cheese tart was really good, and so was the steamed buns I got. I really enjoyed supporting this small local business and would come back again! I will give 0 star to this store if I can. They r selling trash. Please don’t go this black-hearted store. They keep selling mold cake , unfresh fruits cake. Definitely will not go there again. The fruits is so dry that u can imagine how long it’s been in the refrigerator. Please don’t risk customer’s life.

Food quality and safety issues!! A total fraud! Their bread is moldy and still on sale. More terrible is the boss (old woman) also do not admit, say please casually expose, she is not afraid! Never walk into this store again!

The older lady working there (maybe owner) definitely always tries to hustle and have people buy more than they were looking for (make that $$$) the 2-3 times I have been there but never bought anything. Today, I bought some bakery items and when I got home to unpack the bag for a piece of cake I ordered, there was an additional slice of cake that she snuck in there. I then noticed it was molded! Definitely will not be going there again. Would rate lower if I could.

I haven't visited this bakery since the pandemic. Today I was in the area, so I thought I would drop by and get a few things. I got 6 egg tarts and a few of their baked goods. I calculated the total ahead of time, $21, but the lady told me $21.25. When asking about it, she said she thought I wanted a plastic bag. Then she deducted the 25 cents. The two ladies at the counter were fine. I didn't experience any of the bad attitudes the previous reviewers mentioned. However, I was concerned about their packaging and cleanliness. The lady forced 6 egg tarts in a paper box that is 8" (L) x 5" (W) x 1.5" (H). The box wasn't big enough, so two of the egg tarts were squashed. I also found dirt inside of the two boxes. I just tried one of the egg tarts and baked goods. They were not as good as they used to. Assume there's a change of the kitchen staff.

The fat puffy hair woman overcharged me by fifty cents when I purchased four items; and then short changed with a nickle as a quarter. So, definitely watch out for that, if you don't care about couple bucks short, then that's fine. The buns are okay, the dough is a bit too moist, not very fresh. The cake rolls are dry on the edge like an eraser, I guess it's at least three days old, but no green molds yet, I consider myself lucky after seeing pictures of some other reviews.
