Lovely family running the place. The bed was pretty comfortable, warm blanket which is essential cause it gets pretty chilly at night. It was really quiet at night, I didn't even use ear plugs although I'm a light sleeper and use them almost always when traveling. Hot shower but the bathroom is a bit run down.
We stayed here for a couple of nights and had a big room with good wifi and an ok bathroom. It wasn't as clean as it could of been and it was a little damp. The family were lovely and really looked after us and engaged with us. Location is walkable although not central.
If you stay here, everyting wil be arrange for you. The owner is a very big help and a realy nice man. His family is also very nice. The mattresses were a little thin, but compere with al the positive is this a little thing.
All you should expect is enough space to park 3 cars, 2 rooms with 2 double beds and another 2 rooms with a double bed each.
No any other facility at all. Owner will say he'll move heaven an earth for you on phone but the actual thing is a nightmare when you get there.
Hot water is not working properly, TV is not working, no way of getting some water to drink etc . . .
I would never recommend this for a fellow traveler. :-(
Quite shocking. Dark, damo, lots of mosquitoes, no mosquito nets, rooms are filthy, no water coming out of the shower, no door handle inside of bathroom so you get stuck in there, carpets are dirty, no bed sheets, you sleep under the same blanket as the person before you and the person after you. Quite frankly don't understand how this place is still in business. We ordered the breakfast and the coffee was beyond disgusting. When the owner also tried to overchrage us by some $20 USD becuase he typed the wrong figures into his calculator we told him all of our feedback and he kicked us out and threatened us and our driver. Worst experience we've had with any accommodation in any of the 40+ countries we've traveklled. Ironically, the room category was called DELUXE
The housekeeper was the friendliest man in Sri Lanka! He guided us through our rainy says in the town. He showed us tea plantations and factory which was running.
In theyr house we had great dinners and tasty tea to warm up our bodies! Really way to go!

Status of the rooms are not good. Hot water is not working properly. No heating in rooms. Some windows can not be closed. The TV in the lobby area is not working. As I saw the carpets are not vacuumed for a long time. Not recommend.
Very friendly family. Organise trips for you with good drivers. Very good food for dinner. Care a lot for customers. Only thing to argue is the rooms are basic.
This home offers the warmth and peaceful ness ones expects on a holiday. Susantha and his family offer you a wonderful experience. His manor is walking distance from Galway forest.
