The store shares the same space with a Dry Cleaners business, so don't let it fool you. Excellent and economical. The lady who took our order, Julia, was so kind, friendly and welcoming. Just call to make sure the the menu item you want to order is available. Make it worth your trip if traveling more than 30 min because food is good and if you buy more than you can eat it’s easy to freeze for another day. Tortellini chicken alfredo and zucchini/squash medley is tasty. Green beans were nicely seasoned. The King Ranch has tones of an enchilada casserole, so next time I’m gonna make my Spanish rice and beans for sides. Rock on secret Chef!!

Found this gem while out shopping and wanted something healthy to eat, but not a salad. Oh my goodness! So tasty and fresh! I got the chicken spaghetti, salmon, and beef stroganoff meals, as well as the pasta salad. I had to try a little of each when I got home. Tastes like home cooking without the mess, time and cost. It would cost a fortune to purchase everything and make these myself. I got the 1-2 servings and it is at least 2 meals for me. I will definitely be stopping by and trying something new each week! What a blessing! Oh, and the lady that assisted me was super helpful and nice.

Love their Chicken Pot Pie! easy and convenient! Most of the things we got here have been very tasty. Great for a quick meal when you just don't feel like cooking!

Delicious! Wonderful home cooked meals to take home and warm up. We are stopping by a couple of times a week. Everything we’ve tried is good! Chicken salad, pimento cheese, fire crackers are some of our fav snacks. Love the chicken pot pie, green beans, pot roast and carrots, chicken spaghetti, to name a few. Chocolate cream pie is yummy! Noticed they have a drive through and delivery. We love it!

Spouse brought home the meatloaf and fish. The meatloaf/mash/green beans meal was tasty but the tilapia with almonds and asparagus had no flavor. I wouldn’t return based off the lack of flavor and inconsistency of flavors from one meal to the next. Then he showed me the menu with prices. I was blown away with how high priced these meals are, not to mention the small portions. It makes sense because of the location and high rent, but the food is definitely not worth the price.

Just moved here from Arizona , did not know what Kolaches were. Thank you secret chef , I am now addicted . They are freshly baked every morning. Stopped by this morning just as they were coming out of the oven . Went in for ONLY 1, came out with 4. 2 cream cheese , 1 peach and 1 cherry, so delicious. Have also had their chicken salad , very good . Staff is always very nice and helpful .

I don't know if I showed up on a special day or what, but there is no way their meatloaf is always that good! I'll try it again and be suprised if it's as good. It could be half as good, and it will still be okay. Vegetables not overcooked.

The food looks tasty,tempting, beautiful in fact..but the staff member I encountered lacked knowledge of how to assist first timmers trying to figure out how it works & the number game, which is important to our family. There are no labels on the coolers to distinguish which foods are in what category besides the obvious salads & desserts. The nutrition labels are a big secret with only a master format located in the store. Not very conducisive for diabetics needing a break from cooking. Just another step to take which is daunting. If there were labels on the coolers & nutrition labels on the food itself & SERVING SIZE OTHER THAN 1 OR 2 would help the public make better / easier choices. I passed on the whole concept 1-2 servings as I need to know what kind of nutrition if any am I getting. The food comes from Waco . I'm kinda scared of that as well. Also there is NO experation date on the foods & I was told they rotate every 4 days ..so you never know if you are getting fresh or old. I'm sure if there was a more experienced person working there it might have made a purchase and trust more appealing. But when you just hire someone just to take your $ & get mad because you asked questions. You get people like me that walk out.

This place is fabulous! The people are so nice. The food is healthy, fresh, and delicious. They have so many selections. You can get large meals, or food for just 1 or 2 people. Once you try it, you will go back.
